Miss Moonlight, I have been guilty of waiting for his validation, and when that wasn't given, I wanted closure from him. But he has been silent, it's like I don't even exist to him anymore, and I have (very, very) slowly realized that I need to create my own closure. I honestly hate it when people say you "need to get to a better place yourself in order to attract the love you deserve." Here's the thing, everyone who isn't a horrid person deserves love, support, and companionship. No one can get through life without help, which many of us don't have. Sometimes all we need is someone to take a chance on us and accept and love us exactly as we are in order to grow and thrive. I love myself, and I am loyal, devoted, faithful, kind, and supportive. I have stood by my person's side longer and more unwaveringly than anyone else in his life, yet he always chooses toxic people over me. Those things are what make someone worthy of love, not where they are financially, spiritually, etc. And I see so many people that are genuinely horrible who have no problems getting anyone and everyone, not to mention everything, they want. They're constantly surrounded by love and support, even if all they do is hurt people. So if the Universe genuinely thinks they are more worthy of love than those of us who'd never hurt anyone, it's clearly not the caring, benevolent force people claim it is.
