But one day I hope to see PHX holding that championship for the first time…….
Y’all literally had everyone behind y’all and basically got swept after two games sad but thanks for the second ring ggs
2 years in a row, 2 teams nobody expected to make it to the finals. First the heat, now the suns. Both lost but both times great stories
i migth say 3 year in a row with the raptors in 2019
@@johnlawrencemigueln.ibanez1657 the Raptors were the 2nd seed and were expected to be good when Kawhi got there
My Blazers have a VERY similar story. Gettting bounced early, star frustrated, etc. I hope my Blazers will be able to mirror the story of the Bucks
I'm a Suns fan and I would love to see the Blazers at least win one with Dame. I hope he has Patience and stays to end his career there. But I would love to see him run point in PHX. Won't happen but a person can dream haha
I hope so too but I just don't think Dame and Giannis is on the same level
I was rooting for the Suns since the start of the playoffs however once it became Bucks vs Suns I knew it was going to be an amazing finals where there was home grown teams with no super team up garbage.
Booker got ripped so many times in the Finals
nawlins, flippers, roccets an now the suns. cp3 aint that dude. havin 2 different franchises in the finals was a breath of fresh air. more parity pls.
The Bucks deserved this title more than the Suns (In my opinion).
They don’t deserve none they earned it
I think the suns and CP3 deserved it because the bucks have many years left in them to win while CP3 dosen't
@@cpt33 they little kids lol
@@annbauman6123 That sounds like their problem to deal with, all because you're old doesn't mean you deserve it more than a younger player.
You cant deserve title... You need to EARN it
‘First time I’ve ever wanted both teams to win’ that’s really true
Ratings shouldn’t matter I enjoyed the finals something new
(i think you mean "tragedy", not "travesty")
great vid! echoes a lot of my thoughts
Dont see how paul is a top 5 pg of all time. Its funny how everyone list all have only one or two guys who played before the 80s.
My top 5 PGs (no particular order)
Magic, Curry, Isiah, Oscar and Frazier (very underrated)
Oscar Robertson, John Stockton, Jerry West, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas
top 10 maybe ? . definitely not top 5 .
@@thedisclosure9613 definitely Top 15
Maybe there’s a reason why they generally exclude people from before the 80s and give more credit to a guy like Chris Paul on an All-Time list.
Jrue's steal at the end of Gm 5 is the series changer. You can feel Suns are losing their confidence after that game
Now you realize how good jrue is 💯
Remember the State Farm commercial where the buck mess up Chris Paul stuff
They foreshadowed that
Lessons I learned from this season..being healthy is a skill and basketball is simply putting the ball in the basket regardless of how you do it.
Period.
You don't like the way he does it?
Stop him lol.
If ya'll can't stop him?
S the F up.
Honestly it was nice to see 2 teams that was not super teams play hard against eachother the nba felt like it use too in the 90s and early 2000s not the worriors not the cavs not the lakers not brooklyn not lebron or kd it was new teams new players i loved every minute of it
They’re weren’t any superteams last year
I know it was great
That was a stupid question. They just lost the game of their lives.😂
I’m a bucks fan and I wanted both to win
I always viewed this year's playoffs as: Whoever eliminates the Nets will win the NBA Championship.
But nobody really eliminated them they kinda eliminated themselves
@@conceitedfication you could say that but at the end of the day, the Bucks beat the Nets in a 7-game series. The injuries were unfortunate but it is part of the game and it shouldn't fully discredit a team's win. The best ability is availability. Coming into Game 7 of that series, most people picked the Nets to win the game despite missing Kyrie and Harden not at 100%. They saw that the Bucks would choke under pressure and that the greatness of KD would be too much for them to handle, yet when they beat them, very little credit was still given to them and now they used the injuries excuse yet couldn't be bothered to acknowledge it heading into game 7.
@@conceitedfication With KD at his peak Nets were still a contender even without Kyrie and Harden. Heck Peak KD alone is worth 2 superstars.
i felt like whoever beats the nets and the lakers is the champ and runner up
I thought that the BKN-MIL was the real ECF, but that it just happened in round 2.
Oh man that one question in the opener 🤣😂🤣😂
Without CP3 the suns wouldn't even be in the finals, however Game 4 is on him, they had the game in the bag and those turnovers were fatal.
CP3 made dumb turnovers this entire series.
Now we need a video on Giannis
The finals was great but very very unexpected for sure , seeing cities like Milwaukee and Phoenix in the finals after so many years of not making it is very interesting
Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the US. NOT a small market.
Ratings were bad because the media kept putting down the two teams that actually made it to the finals, and only talking up the four elite "coastal" teams: Lakers, Clippers, 76ers and Nets.
Hopefully more underdogs make the finals, it would generate more interest and greater parity in the league.
And less revenue due to lower viewership smh
In 2006 the Heat beat the Mavericks. Neither team had won a Finals prior to that.
Last years lakers and the heat was in no way a superteam let’s be real here
Lakers still have 2 Top 10 players
@@suiken3149 just like when kobe and shaq play together .
@@thedisclosure9613 Shaq let Kobe develop, not send him for Pippen or other established superstars.
@@suiken3149 A superteam is when you have an established third star/all star. Not two top 10 talents. Last year y'all were saying that the Lakers bench were trash and that AD was fragile and Lebron was old. Y'all just create shit up. 2020 Lakers were not a superteam.
@@Parkr_ couldn’t of said it better myself
Eric Bledsoe probably feels some type of way about Bucks' championship without him.
This was probably the last chance for both teams to make the NBA Finals with the current rosters/cores they have.
Nah I disagree if khris and jrue keep stepping up then maybe they can win a other one
the suns? might be . if other contending team is healthy is gonna be way harder for them to get back to the final again . for the bucks they still have a chance . giannis still young .
You're crazy since the bucks are still young and have been competing in the playoffs for past few yrs.
Last chance for the bucks? Bruh
@@ryanmeneses8044 it’s definitely for the suns and might be for bucks a healthy nets team a healthy lakers team hungry for a ring also clippers and nuggets Celtics and more are coming back healthier than ever
Gianis' first ring weighs more than lebrons rings combined IMO
2:14 the lakers have 2 all star . that's normal for a championship team . the nets have 3 all star . bucks have 2 all star .suns also have 2 all star .
Yep
CP3 actually have good teams in his career. But it's his ego that pushes him away from the ring. From he being a Hornet, a Clipper, a Rocket, a Thunder and now as a Sun player, CP3 has so many abilities for being a leader
2:17 Who thought that the 2020 Lakers were a superteam?
Ad and lebron are a super duo
the nets is superteam . 2 all star is normal for a championship team .
It's only recently that people are calling that lakers team a super team.
Yeah its dumb
Anything to discredit bron
I’m honestly just glad it was two small market teams.
This finals goes to show that it is literally impossible to satisfy people because complained that they didn’t want a superteam in the finals but when a non-superteam doesn’t make the finals they complain too so it’s just weird also I make videos as well
Sadly, yeah. They complained about Bron playing in the finals for like the last decade or when superteams play in the finals yet deep down, that's exactly what they want. Bunch of hypocrites.
they are the same people who hating lebron for creating big 3 in miami but rooting for the gsw with durant againts the cavs .
I think Phoenix should keep CP3. If nothing else, he provides stupendous veteran leadership.
Its poetic justice. Giannis stays with his team and wins it all where CP bolted on the Hornets to play in LA.
He got Traded from the Hornets and didn’t give a desired location…..they felt like he wouldn’t resign. He only left the Clippers on his own signing. Stop spreading IGNORANCE
@@BigWillieDillie did you even read your own post before pressing send? He made it clear he wasn't going to stay with the Hornets. Giannis stayed loyal now hes the man.
@@Cityoftrees1911 the west was fucking stacked back then😂 no comparison at all…
@@joshnyamburi
"These hoes ain't loyal"
We haven't seen Giannis' numbers including Shaq, not since Shaq.
2:16 Really.. The 2020 Lakers is a superteam? LMFAOO i remember people calling they had no bench and that there are no "Dogs" in the team. Now they are a superteam? A superteam without a third star? and even an all-star??
Its now standard that any Lebron team that makes the playoffs is a superteam lol. The Cavs and the Lakers are just not that.
@@geordiejones5618 Haters just like to make shit up lol
I was trying to watch the finals but I kept forgetting,
and when I remembered, the app I use wasn't working
This man really said “Numbers we haven’t seen since shaq” like LBJ doesn’t exist… 2015 finals 35.8p 13.3r 8.8a
Still crazy as a Bucks fan to see them win it all.
CP3 could have gotten to the Finals way sooner with Kobe if David Stern didn't veto the LA trade.
If LA was patient at that time and didn't trade away all there assets. They could have still got CP despite the Veto
Bruh that reporter at the beginning 😂 no fear at all.
There’s nothing tragic about the 2021 finals everyone wanted CP3 to win his first ring but Giannis deserved it just as much let him get his shine
Everyone?
This may be a hard blow for phoenix but remember
A year ago they made an amazing winning streak to miss the playoffs
And now after a decade they finally returned there, and also won western conference, ALSO all 6 games during the finals were pretty close
9:05 you got the numbers wrong, Game 2 had 9.38 M, then Game 3 had 9.02 M, Game 4 had 10.25 M, Game 5 had 9.55 M, and Game 6 had 12.52 M
My guess is that you had Preliminary numbers and not the Final numbers of viewership for Game 2-6
Giannis delivered a MYTHICAL performance, when it counted. He will put himself in the annals of NBA "lore" with that game, and much of his future "legend" will talk about his game 6 heroics. Quite impressive.
After his impressive performances in only 8 years in the league at just 26 years-old, he's now a HOF-lock for sure!
Chris Paul is the reason they were in the Finals, still fans complain
They complain because he didn't win and that's the only reason nobody cares if you make the finals, it's about winning it all.
Hey Andy! What happened to your last video about Kobe and Booker.. Did you delete it??
