I'm living in a small city in Canada, and almost all Chinese restaurants serve similar Canadian Chinese food dishes such as deep fried chicken balls with red sauce, egg foo young, boring spring rolls, deep fried sweet and sour pork, and so called fried rice (white rice with soy sauce and some chopped up carrots and peas). Whenever I go to my usual Chinese restaurants in town I usually ask them in Chinese for the the "real" menu. Their kitchens would make the dishes for me if they've the ingredients. Yes Canadian Chinese food also sucks! However, my Canadian wife disagrees LoL

Sorry I have to correct Ari about the egg rolls, suppose to say spring rolls. Because if you say egg rolls, that would be a type of chinese bisque. Egg rolls is 蛋捲， spring rolls is 春捲。
No, my friend gotta correct you there. You obviously haven't tried enough American Chinese restaurant. EggR and SprR are both deep fried flour wrapped rolls, the difference is in the fillings. EggR usually have pork inside and looks bigger, SprR usually are filled with Veggies and looks skinnier. The dessert "Egg roll" is something else that only discussed within Chinese groups. In America, Egg Roll by default is the fried rolls.

Actually the Chinese foods not sucks at all if you guys dine in the foods hot and fresh buy it took 40 minutes drive there and 40 minutes drive back of course the Chinese food suck and soggy cause is not fresh anymore so it taste like cardboard so it’s waste time and waste money. I know she getting bored jay foods. He need to learn how to cook different kinds of culture foods.
