But given the tools and financial constraints within he had to work, I dont think anyone could do a greater job.

@aaanonimowa Actually he was on the starboard side when the bow took a dip and he lost his balance and fell over board. This is known as Charles Lightholler was on the port side and was thrown to the decks where he saw his friend fall into the icy waters.

I am planning to write my own Titanic Story about these two ten year old cousins who sailed on the Titanic and Survived the nightmare of the shipwreck with their own courage and witts and their broken friendship but with great cost obviously meaning their families from their parents and older siblings did not survive and the sinking of the Titanic brings the two cousins relationship more closer and at first I plan to have Murdoch committing suicide after shooting someone to but unlike James Cameron movie Murdoch suicide plays a part in the cousins story because he bonds with one of the cousins before the ship hits the ice berg and shots one of cousins fathers and when he see the boy he bonded with he shoots himself but after what everyone is saying about Murdoch and after hearing James Cameron offended Murdoch family I may change the story and have Murdoch be the cousins Jack Dawson.

There was not much mention of chief officer Wilde in the film, and none of third and fourth officers Pitman and Boxhall who appeared to be pushovers in the tragedy. Murdoch, Boxhall and sixth officer Moody were in charge of the ship at the time of the iceberg collision. Wilde, Murdoch and Moody died. It was second officer Lightoller, not first officer Murdoch who survived by clinging to the collapsible boat. The other three officers who survived were Pitman, Boxhall and fifth officer Lowe.

That boat was occupied by two ladies (one a teen at the time) I knew who lived in my town in Canada, the Mellingers (The daughter's married name was Mann). Elizabeth, the mother, gave him her cape to keep warm and he gave her his officer's whistle. When Madeleine died I believe it eventually was donated to the Greenwich Maritime museum.

William Mcmaster Murdoch fate is unknown it is said that he was swept off the ship by a wave while someone did kill them self on the ship on that night it was someone else William Mcmaster Murdoch is a hero for what he did that night may he sleep forever in peace

There was not much mention of chief officer Wilde in the film, and none of third and fourth officers Pitman and Boxhall who appeared to be pushovers in the tragedy. Murdoch, Boxhall and sixth officer Moody were in charge of the ship at the time of the iceberg collision. Wilde, Murdoch and Moody died. It was second officer Lightoller, not first officer Murdoch who survived by clinging to the collapsible boat. The other three officers who survived were Pitman, Boxhall and fifth officer Lowe.

That boat was occupied by two ladies (one a teen at the time) I knew who lived in my town in Canada, the Mellingers (The daughter's married name was Mann). Elizabeth, the mother, gave him her cape to keep warm and he gave her his officer's whistle. When Madeleine died I believe it eventually was donated to the Greenwich Maritime museum.
