Buy one of them small kitty pools & fill it with litter so they’ll use that as their community toilet inside their enclosure. That way you can just clean the clumps out the litter box every other day instead of all that cleaning you just did. You can set it up on the corner & hang a tarp covering that one corner so it stays dry.
I really appreciate what you do for the kitties. Maybe if you dump the soil out in bigger piles and then rake them down (since you have to rake anyway) it may be easier on your back. Great job!
Love what you doing for your babies. You might want to build 3 or 4 enclosed litter boxes. That could keep all the poop in specific areas in make clean up easier while keeping out the rain. Place a tray in the bottom that you can slide out for easier cleaning and you can you use cat litter. Scoop away is my favorite because with regular maintenance it reeks the least if you scoop it daily. You can also add baking soda if you want since we're talking enclosed. Just a thought :-)

Personally, I think you should put down a bag of cedar mulch it smells better and on one side get a low line rubber container from Walmart put in a couple of bags of the pearl litter the area will smell better. I used to breed dachshunds and kept it down in my pens even if it rains you only smell the cedar

Lala i use to foster pregnant cats i would get or bottle feed whatever they needed me for we would get the small plastic swimming pools fill it with litter we scooped few times a day plus using certain litter seemed to not control odor

They have a liter box inside the shed where they sleep, I use to put it in the Catio but the rain be so unexpected here and it messed up too many liter boxes so I stopped putting it in the Catio
