I really like what you did here, Rex! The early Lotus cars are a favourite of mine and yours came out looking superb, the coolness is in the little details you added. Love this project and can't wait to see you run the finished article! All the best, my friend! :O)
I like it. Perhaps the only thing could be to use thinner tires, but IIRC the F103 wheels are a bit special in how they attach, so might not be so easy to get thin tires on it :D
Hi Rexy, i have to say that you’ve done an amazing job on the body, it’s practically perfect 😍, really looks the part, you should put drywall tape and shoo goo on the nose cone to protect it before you drive it. Can’t wait to see it used in anger. Great video
Im excited to hopefully make it out to the track soon to film a good video of this thing, it currently understeered a lot when I tried it for a few minutes, I havent been back since but the tuning journey will be very productive
Hi, I havent had the time yet to find to get to the track, but Ive got three cars to film next time i go, thanks for watching and following up on the running video 😁🙏
That is really cool!! I love the look of it and it just looks fast sitting there! Really, really awesome custom build!!!
You’ve inspired me. Great information!

Turned out great! You can try scratch building some long exhaust pipes to hide the exposed motor.👍😊
Very interesting machine! I grew up just a few miles from the Lotus factory so their road cars were always a common sight.
Good work, nice speech tone!
Awesome build, looks great.
My dad made my pinewood derby car look like that. He painted 2 golf tees silver for exhaust pipes. I think that is what it's missing on the rear end.
Great find and an awesome build!
Very nice body
I have a similar f1 i could try to convert it too
Looks cool 😎
I think it looks great! Would love to see a class of these racing.

I'm curious to see how it runs without wings.
Looks good but you need to replace those front tires those side walls look terrible.
Run it like you stole it. Lol
REX, AWESOME JOB MAN!!!!!! half-ass, lmao. Nothing here says "half-ass" dude, GFJ!!!! Can't wait to see this run, best do it at the indoor track.
It looks great! I honestly thought this was a factory Tamiya kit
Amazing body, great work making it fit. Just need to get some skinny wheels on it
