All makes sense, other than fact that if eg Apple and Google funnel global profits through Ireland to pay a lower tax rate, that still means Ireland is receiving massive tax revenues from Google and Apple even if these companies have limited activities in the country?
Forget GDP and look at PPP, Ireland is still one of the world’s richest countries. Why is it always someone with an English accent who has maybe never been to Ireland, such an expert on Ireland. I am Irish 54 years old and this is the best time ever to live in Ireland. The country has money to do anything. The UK on the other hand is a basket case outside London city.
