I found your channel recently while looking for a more detailed look at the Fractal Torrent Nano. I appreciate the amount of detail you have in your videos when covering cases, keep up the good work!
Wanted to say a big thanks for your step by step guides on how to build a PC, thanks to your nr200p max guide I actually managed to build my own sff PC So for all the new builders do keep up the great work!
Congratulations on your content, it is extremely important and relevant. I saw this video late, I already bought the Tuf gt502. I really liked that you compared it to the evo dynamici, it's very good for those who are in doubt about which case to choose.
Another perfect case review Chris, well done pal!!! I loved the time you took to clearly pointing out that ergonomics is a major factor when we talk about PC cases. So, eventhough i consider my self an ASUS fan, i would say that there are more than one yellow cards about this product. One of the advantages of LIAN LI (huge fan there..lol) is that listen to people and comes up with real improvements in the designs and ergonomics (apart the air flow). This is a major advantage and ASUS should follow the same route.
I love this channel, it contains the most info and as far as I can tell is extremely fair and unbiased in its reviews. Loved it's lian li 011 dynamic evo videos and I love this too!
Thank you for mentioning the other components temperatures of the motherboard and things installed on the motherboard. I had a brief problem with drive and RAM thermals when I put a 360 AIO in the front of my Fractal Torrent which I was able to sort with fan curves and a vertical GPU mount.
Missed opportunity from ASUS. There’s so many little things that could’ve been improved over any O11 based cases, yet they’ve created more issues that the O11 doesn’t have.
Hopefully Lian Li and other case manufacturers implement at least optional handles like this one has though. The case long handle was one of the big perks on my old Thermaltake lvl10 GT case. Made transportation of that behemoth to/from lan parties significantly better.
A lot of discussion about the wasted space in the rear compartment because of the fan bracket...but no mention that this is actually a hybrid bracket that can be used to mount 3 hard drives. You even mentioned that this is an advantage of the o11 when this case has basically the same feature. Really great review though, I used this video when shopping for this case and have finished my build in it. Thanks for the detailed review.
Very good video! The O11 dynamic evo was my original pick, but the look of this one suits a bit better my gaming orientation. I'm not sure which one I'll pick, but you helped me a lot to correctly choose. By the way, huge thank you to talk about the 2nd chamber AIO mounting as I was thinking about it. Now I know that I will not do it.
@@ethaneaves_04 I still did not upgrade my PC, but I'll go with either the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO or the new O11 Dynamic evo RGB if it gets release on time for black friday. It is very similar to this case but more of a chic look, instead of hardcore gamer look
Wish I had found this case sooner. Ended up buying a NZXT H9 Flow. Despite being superior in many ways (airflow, cable management, storage) I really like the TUF esthetics, not to mention this one looks sturdier.
14:15 Using fans on the top of the case as exhaust fans and Placing the 360mm AIO in the secondary chamber of the case, the air heated by the radiator block will not go to the graphics card, which blows up the cold air that entered under the case. This is an organization that solves the traditional problem of blowing heated air into the case when using the AIO on the front, in traditional cases.
When mounting the CPU AIO radiator at the rear of the case you are supposed to remove all the fans on the side bracket and instead mount the 3 HDD metal plates there to seal off the secondary chamber preventing hot air air from entering the main chamber which should give better temps for both CPU and GPU. Asus put out a guide on how to do it correctly.
You really should have top mounted the radiator.... the back mount is for a GPU AIO radiator and the reason its seperated is the dual chamber for the CPU and GPU radiators to not conflict with one another...
Super review, best of all 😮, omg, so lot of info and these little things, thanks ❤! Im interested in this case, i have TUF B650 motherboard and ASUS RTX3090 😢, i dont know, this case (all Asus) or new Montech 95 King (or Pro)? Please, i need your opinions 😢😢😢
Another great case review paired up with an excellent build guide. Also, would you be able to do a build guide for the new Deepcool ch510 mesh digital?
i know i already ask ford the cooler master on other video but a deep dive on the tuf gamming gt302 would be cool too. I'm asking cuz you make great videos. thanks in advance
Currently have this case and man, is it HEAVY. My worry is bringing my pc with me when I move out of the country. I can disassemble it, sure, and wrap and secure the most important and expensive parts. But the case itself I don't know if it'll fit in my luggage. Fingers crossed.
Im 3 months late to the HAF 700 evo case video, but why is my ARGB hub not in my Master+ software? LCD screen works fine, but no RGB from fans or front panels
Very nice review of this case, I was very tempted to get this in white but went with the smaller 011 mini in the end as getting the GT05 was difficult in the UK back then. It’s a shame Asus had design oversight for the side mounting in the side, that’s a surprise. It’s still a nice case though.
My question is, does this case support a watercooler reservoir with a TUF 4090? I'm thinking about using a 360mm/45mm radiator on top, if anyone can help me with this question I'd be grateful.
Why didn't you mount AIO on top with tubes coming from back. I got mine done this way and looks awesome(cleaner). I used Antec vortex 360 And it comes with ARGB hub that works perfectly with this case.
Check the build guide, this is just the last thermal configuration that I tested and I didn't like the tubes this way either. This asus aio needs tubes at bottom on the pump to have the logo up the right way
I was successful with putting AIO on the side (exactly the same), but after that I realized, that I can't put all 3 fans on the roof, cause of AIO tubes.
What a great video! Thank you very much! May I ask you for a recommendation: I am about to install my current setup in this case. There will be 3 different fan editions within the 10 in total, however all 10 will be from the same vendor (CoolerMaster) at least. Thinking about airflow, how should I take the 3 different CFM values of those fans into account? I will have 3 x fans with 52 CFM each, (unfortunately these are the best looking ones, which I would love to install as outtakes) 3 x fans with 62 CFM each, and 4 x fans with 75 CFM each. Would what be your suggestion on the installation as in/outtakes? Should the sum of CFM of intake and outtake be as close to each other as possible?
I grabbed a 502 in white, fitted a artic 2 360 AIO in the roof I could of squeezed it in the wall gap with not one mm to spare but would of missed out on a fan either top of bottom of the case depending on the way I mounted the tubing (I feel they messed up with the wall bracket that holds the AIO at the top and bottom it needs trimming top/bottom to allow the tubes to pass through from the rear then the aio could fit in the rear and and have the fans on the front wall and there would be room for top and bottom fans), I also used the wall fan as a intake and blocked off the rear of the rear panel with a piece of foam just allowing filtered air in. I'm pleased you answered the question on fitting the additional fans in the rear adding no benefit and just noise saved me finding out at cost.
For me, its temping vs the lian li cases as its more compact, i dont like overly huge fishtanks where thers a lot of empty space. Other than that, the tooless, bumpless side panels are really unique on the market, maybe only saw one other case with that mechanics. Top panel straps and magnet are unique too, u will never find other case with those. So its actually a very niche, unique case i like it for its one of a kind features, so as it is its not a lian li competitor totally.
What would you suggest for dual GPU setup for GT502 or can you suggest GT 503 for this kind of usage ? I do not like tower style cases. I m going to use ASUS PROART Z690 CREATOR motherboard for dual GPU and for GPU possibly wait Asus to release Pro Art 4070 Ti edition other wise I have couple of GPU's EVGA 3070 FTW3 / Sapphire RX 580 and 1080 Ti which are working different machines one by one. I want to reduce machine count and keep things as possible as small. I eager to sell couple of them and add a regular 4070 Ti to for dual GPU setup but these GPU's too thick. Do you think I have to buy a 4.0 PCIe Riser cable ? if I need I will go for Lian Li 60 cm for different GPU usage options, GT502 looks like enough space for dual GPU setups.
What bothers me is the multiple different set ups he talk in with the case. Radiator in the back, the top, vertical bracket installed but didn't talk about it but when he did it wasn't installed anymore. Visually I can't see the Little accessories
so its a not as good copy of the Lian li 0011D. I like Asus products, but man that embossing on the front of the case just makes it look cheap in my opinion
I would wonder if these cases work well on their side. It just seems like its suppose to be horizontal. I know the case stand tabs arent. But it feels like the original xbox. That didn't stand up like a playstation 2.
So many things could’ve been better improving from the o11. Even the O11 Evo failed to accomplish. Roof clearance, despite being better with the Evo, could be closer to the side glass panels. Bottom filter was a downgrade. Side chamber bracket was much better on the Evo (can be adjusted). Any case willing to improve upon the O11 must be bold, as otherwise anyone will just stick with the Lian Li case. Best move would be, almost what the upcoming O11 EVO XL is going to do: slightly larger case all around but support for triple 140mm. For radiators, most fans are rubbish, but for an aircooled GPU and AIO for CPU that would be interesting.
Wow... Your dedication to testing fan setup is VERY IMPRESSIVE. Thank you Sir
Bit late but unbelievable, I cant imagine how many hours actually went into this review,

Thanks, hoping these are addressed with the next version, because I really love the look of the case
The conclusions are spot on! The O11 series are quite good and well designed.
Thanks

Thanks for this video :) I´ll buy this case because I just love the handles from the top and the overall military feeling
Thank you for mentioning the other components temperatures of the motherboard and things installed on the motherboard. I had a brief problem with drive and RAM thermals when I put a 360 AIO in the front of my Fractal Torrent which I was able to sort with fan curves and a vertical GPU mount.
No problem
Would like to see top intake side intake bottom intake and rear exhaust. It should help with noise and cpu temperatures.
i always love when you make a video....any video !!!! thankyou
Your welcome
Best reviews hands down. Thanks for all your hard work.

Another advantage over O11 is if you don't want to put it on the desk, the position of IO panel is much better

Which one did u end up going with

Excellent review (as usual)! 👍
They should have also released this case in a military green color.

Maybe, I'll keep it in mind
for me personally, its looks even better than the rog strix helios
Looks are great, one of the best looking cases I have build in recently

Did the aio going to the back have the fans on the radiator as well?
great video! well explained
How to lit Asus logo on the front of the case?
Something in your life you must know ( nothing come perfect ever ) for now i see this one of the best cases by ASUS👍🏻
Im 3 months late to the HAF 700 evo case video, but why is my ARGB hub not in my Master+ software? LCD screen works fine, but no RGB from fans or front panels

Can i daisy chain that rgb sign cable to some Arctic fans that go into the motherboard argb header? I cannot find the answer anywhere. :(
My question is, does this case support a watercooler reservoir with a TUF 4090?

Is this case inspired in Guatemala? Which phone's extension is +502 and Country Gt
Would a 4090 fit into this case?
I was successful with putting AIO on the side (exactly the same), but after that I realized, that I can't put all 3 fans on the roof, cause of AIO tubes.
Can I mount 2x 140mm fan on bottom ?
What a great video! Thank you very much! May I ask you for a recommendation:

The O11 Dynamic EVO use the old usb ports, that's what put me off it. I like this case as it has the new USB ports
How does such a big case have such scruffy options for hard drives?
Brow, How much cost this case there?
In Brazil doesn't have yet unfortunately

Holyshit i was always fan of lian li 011 but damn this case has smth i like alot of about it looks like airflow is awesome!
Iam thinking about getting it and putting the side as aio exhaust.. top and button intake..
However tough this case looks I still much prefer the Lian Li Lancool 216 or the NZXT H6 Flow.

My take away is if you were going to water cool this thing you could run 4 radiators
Great video other than the redundant repeating of the same things you don't like. Could have easily cut like 10 min off this video.
" there is one slight problem with this case and its that the O11 Dynamic EVO exists " all is said ....
I still like this case if you build a certain way, but the O11 dynamic evo gives more options
So British :)
iyi kasa ama bu modelin FUUL TOWER olursa çok güzel olur bu mini oluyor ve kasa içi kısıtlı ve dar ayrıca KÜÇÜK.
Do not understand Asus obsession with handles for cases. Great build but case just doesn't do it for me.
I liked the look, and the handles worked great for me, but appreciate no everyone will move the case as much as me
For everything this case does right, i feel like it does something wrong. And it's hideous.

Safe to say whoever designd the recent TUF gpus were not involved in the design of this giant ugly thing.
