EDIT: Apparently GGG swapped the effects of the Vivid and Primal Wisps prior to launch. The Blue Wisps and the Charm Ascendancy are now the ones you want to get extra currency drops.

Loved your steamdeck PoE guides ! I just miss 1 answer to a question I have and I'm sure LOADS of other people have... I have not played a lot of PoE or I'm totally new. What build/style should I go to have a fun experience FROM THE START on a steamdeck, no matter what version or current season event... Whats is something basic and fun to get that first PoE experience in and make it a fun one.

That's... a surprisingly difficult question to answer!
PoE is such a huge and complex game... and is constantly changing!
Some people believe the best way to have a good first experience is to go in blind, knowing that your first character will probably not be able to beat the game - but you'll learn a ton, and do better on your next character.
Others believe that you should follow a build guide on your very first character, to make sure that you don't get stuck. But... it's a lot of information overload, for a completely new player.
I'd say the best thing to do is to just go in, trying to learn as much about PoE as you play as you possibly can! One of the joys of PoE is that there's ALWAYS more to learn about, or things you haven't tried yet, or new builds to play. You just have to get in there and start!
I **will** make one build guide recommendation though - the content creator Pohx has an entire WEBSITE dedicated to a single skill - Righteous Fire. It is incredibly detailed, is very new-player friendly, and explains in detail things that most guides would simply gloss over: www.pohx.net/

@@PatrickHatTrickGaming just played for the first time last night on the steamdeck using holy flame totem, firewall and rolling magma. I died a few times...but overall it was a bunch of fun and it really works pretty smoothly ! I don't think it will make me play hardcore or serious but as a casual fun way to get into the game (and maybe play more serious on PC) it is great to play on Steam Deck !

Here you craft your own fun! Play a little by yourself see what style you like, then find all the info on that style, then craft that build further and further. For example, some people like bow builds, or glass cannon types others just smash stuff around. This game is like a toy box with pieces that you should put together. There is not a right or wrong way to play, just having fun is most important.

Small update, 28 hours played so far, just reached act10. Played about 80% on steamdeck, 20% on PC and it's fun ! I'm not full on addicted yet but it's been loads of fun. Steam Deck holds up....okay, not perfect but great if you are just chilling on the couch with your partner.
