Max is just good at KI, he always plays average players. Never seen him play pro level players.
@youmeanthemost tome Yeah i rememberthat actually, imo season 1 was the best season (as broken as some characters were). He was good, but in his later content especially over the last couple years, he just creates a ton of smurf accounts and plays average players.

It might not seem like it, but (Heavy auto > Light Linker > Heavy auto > Light Linker > Heavy Auto) is the max damage lockout combo for Kim.

Crofts when you're gonna get the kill from any ender make sure you use the firecracker ender for a free dragon plus whatever other bonuses it gives you depending on your ender level. It can give you Shadow, Instinct & health on level 2, 3 & 4 enders respectively.
Just make sure you have that solid internet connection for EVO. I know you shouldnt have issues, but I'm assuming others would throw the match if they dc? How could they tell who DC's in dbfz for example?

Evo rules require that people are hard wired, no wifi, (though I don't know how that can be enforced) the brackets are being made by region to help with better connections, and the games were selected for having really solid netcode. Connection issues will happen but hopefully it's only for a tiny number of people
But for the games they do have it would be a forfeit im guessing if they could tell who dc'd?

That's what I love about KI there is very little guaranteed damage there is always a way out unless you get locked out. Multi levels of mind games you don't find in any other fighting game.

Do you think that there may be a down side to playing and practicing games on a stream or uploaded videos? Meaning, potential competition someone may go against at EVO could review the footage and look for weaknesses or ways to bait or exploit the person.
Just a random thought . High tier competition in many genres will use any edge they can get. From professional football teams hiring lip readers to try to see calls the opposing team coach is calling for. Or reviewing footage from other games and plays. Etc.
Kinda disappointed you chose Kim Wu of all characters in KI to main.

I have to say, this game doesn't look good over the internet. There are so many particle effects that the compression kicks in hard. I wonder if those settings will be tinkered with for EVO so it's more watchable
