Was always my first choice, even when I wasn’t paying for it. Maybe it was the help yourself buffet breakfast. Get what you want and don’t wait to be served.

If you book a premier plus room, you get a mini bar/fridge, you also get a walk in shower as apposed to the one in a bath in the regular rooms. You also get a Nescafé gusto machine and a fancy chair with footrest stool thing. The view in those type of rooms are also vastly improved.

The breakfast is great value but when I stayed at the Premier Inn at Gatwick airport in October, it was also freezing and it seems that with the current fuel crisis, they turn the heating to about 61 degrees farenheit or 16 degrees celcius. BUT this is the thing, they have a mission control over-ride button and you can't actually turn it up (much maybe?). You have to phone reception and say what temperature you want and it is done from mission control. Crafty.

It won't be long until the staff at hotels recognise you when you check in and upgrade you to the penthouse to get a better review.

I am amazed you found a hotel with a vacancy, next time arrive in a dinghy you might get a discount on the room.

My wife and I stayed at the Premier Inn Goodge Street Hub hotel in London late last year and again in the Edinburgh Haymarket hub hotel in march and both were fantastic. Although small rooms, they are very modern and clean .. just what we wanted.
Now we are thinking about a short stay in Manchester for later in the year, so looking at Premier Inn options. (Actually possibly 2 nights in Liverpool then 2 in Manchester ... not yet decided)
Would you stay at this hotel again ?

Dr. Jake, I noticed your interesting looking wallet on the desk in the video. Would you ever consider making a video about the contents of your wallet or is that too much of an odd request?

All the big low budget hotels look the same tbh and for the price you can't complain if they don't quite look top notch cos in the end your only there to sleep, pee and 💩, I stayed in a newly refurbished hilton recently and a premier inn that was done years ago there's not much difference it's all about turn over nothing else

Late Autumn is dark in the mornings all over the small island of Britain. It's situated in the northern hemisphere and the days get shorter towards the winter solstice everywhere. At 3,600ish miles from the equator, is there any reason for a dreary cliché-driven southerner to actually comment on the lightness as if the south is somewhere on the coast of the Mediterranean? Well, you thought some creaking was unnerving so well done you! You lived up to your pathetic soft southerner stereotype. Jeez!
