Thamizh movie was released in just 3 theatres(madurai) initially after 1 week through word of mouth it got released in 10+ theatres, same goes around Tamilnadu. That's why Hari was the go to director at that time. By the like most say, prashanth was not that much popular or large fanbase actor, he was below par actor only. At that time we used criticize him being a sinp, cringey actor 😂... Vitta andha ponnu kaal la vilundhu love othuka vaipan pola nu dhan thonum. Actually Thamizh was the one movie most 90's kids we enjoyed prashanth acting. Like how simbu got his neutral fans admiration after Kovil movie. Winner was a flip, it was famed after adhithya tv opening only
