@@ariesnc6320 both trucks are very very similar, but I generally lean more towards the GMC's. I also really like the multipro tailgate with kicker audio system that this truck has. Honestly though, you can't really go wrong with either truck. I'll be uploading my test drive video of this truck tomorrow or Friday so keep an eye out. Thanks for watching!
@@BrianMello I agree with your comment. I do like the multi pro for accessing things in the bed. However the Chevy does power up and down tailgate is nice. Honestly both drive amazing for a HD truck. Nice video I’m a subscriber now!!

Agreed. My father in-law picked one up just a while back it very disappointed with the interior. No where close to my ram 2500
@@kevinbroderick6449 man I just got a Ram 2500 2020 and the interior is made of vertly cheap plastic, and the touch screen is a 5 inch, forbid it’s the work model but when I pay over 68k for a truck I t should come with a better dash, I wish I could take the dodges motor and put it in a Chevy haha, I needed it for what I’m hauling for work and it drives great.
I was thinking the same thing but the best I could find with my searches is that the 1500s are getting updated interiors, not so with the 2500s, at least not in 2022. I know it seems like they would do both, but everything I've seen indicates updates coming to just 1500s first.

Finally I can get power mirrors to fold and extend/contract! My 2013 didn’t have them. Super annoyed as they stick out into the sidewalk when it is parked.

Previous Gen oem power steps were only available on the half ton model's. It wasn't until the def tank location was changed on the 2500's in 2020 that they became available.

Yes, on the Multipro tailgate.
Just don't have a hitch in the receiver when it comes down. if so its a instant tailgate replacement. the second fold down will hit the ball. Not very well thought out on GMC's part especially on a 3/4 ton truck made for pulling a trailer.

I'm waiting for the 2022 Denali with SuperCruise. I WAS looking at the Fords, but since they are now currently rusting under 5k miles, that's not happening. I also just learned that only GMC can use SuperCruise while trailering, which is a big win for this guy, who regularly travels from California, to Maine, to Florida. Hopefully the 2500 HD's will be getting it soon as well.

I just love this truck! Would it be wrong to get this truck, even though I’m not pulling a damn thing but a Xmas tree in the bed once a year? Thats why I would just get the non-diesel 6.6. The AT4 is nice too🙂 but this truck is perfect. Especially with black wheels and that hood scoop induction😩😍

How do you like the ebony twilight metallic compared to the onyx black? Only saw Onyx black in person but need to decide if I want to purchase an Elevation in ebony metallic that is on order. Black crew cab elevations are scarce in my area. Any opinion would help greatly!
I have an onyx paint on my denali and my sis has ebony on her at4. I like both paint codes. The flake in the ebony looks great.
FYI, you can dim and brighten your heads-up diplay in your Camaro also.

I've driven the Denali and the dodge limited. The dodge has a much better interior however the handling of the denali drives circles around the dodge. The limited had a slightly better ride with its air ride suspension. Overall I prefer the denali, but gmc must get on that interior!

No. However, just my preference but I prefer the 8”, even then I Have to dim the display at night.
I’m kinda pissed they didn’t put the power retracting steps on the 2020s. Mine doesn’t have it because the option was not available. I would have loved to have that on my 2500.
i always liked big cars like sedans and suvs, there came the trucks and as i thought of having a life in brazil the car similar to sierra is the dodge ram, but as i go to the usa i fell in love with the gmc sierra 2500 nor that I pay in installments but this is going to be my first car. although I still have to go to college and graduate, but finally I hope to buy this beautiful and incredible car. (note: I'm going to buy a bmw m5 as well later on)

There's really not any major changes between the 2020 and 2021, mostly colors, wheel options, and some towing changing for 5th wheels and goosenecks.

I'm going to need a HD truck soonish... really liking the Denali and the Chevy High country. I know there are so many options but other than the nice interior all I really care about is the 360 camera views. I'm towing a trailer that's a bit too heavy for my Nissan 1/2 ton Titan plus my wife likes to drive that truck so shopping for my HD princess truck. The Ram is ugly as sin and the Ford is... OK looking at best but the King Ranch interior is awesome. Leaning GM.

Loaded vs Loaded, very similar...mostly just visual differences at that point. I'd personally go the AT4 route, I prefer the more off-road look than the luxury truck look. Though I'd be totally happy with either one haha thanks for watching Chris!

@@BrianMello Thanks. I recently purchased a new 2019 Ford F-350 dually, Platinum trim, and I love it. The sticker price was $82,460. But I think the GMC is a better looking truck, to be honest. And I like the GMC heads up display and the stereo in the tail gate. I just subscribed to your channel.

My father purchased an AT4 a while back. Though the AT4 isn't as nice as the Denali I still laugh at the fact that pops bought the truck to use as a tow pig and covered the leather seats with some ugly browning seat covers the day after bringing the truck home. its a shame such a nice truck is relegated to a filthy work truck but oh well if you can afford it use it however you like. Don't know exactly why I decided to rant on a TH-cam comment section but thank you for your time.

I'm biased (obv) but as nice as they look there are lots of people complaining about them holding up over time. Steering wheels worn out at under 20k miles and stitching coming apart on new RAMS. We just took in a new Expedition and all the chrome trim around the center console is peeling already and it has 15k miles on it. GM does need to step it up, which they are doing for the 2022 model year....but I'm way more concerned with how well interiors hold up over time than how flashy they look on day 1. Just my .02 thanks for watching!
