As I’ve gotten older (69), the thought of math scares me even though it was a favorite subject back in the day. So my first thought as I watched this was that I would never attempt it since I do live in the US. But, as I watched, I realized it wouldn’t be 5hat difficult to work out. Now, I can’t wait to try it! Thanks for all of your inspiration!
What a fantastic idea you've come up with. You should patent it. It's glorious, especially for Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries. You always have more to say at those holidays. Or even for the others too. God bless you my dear Sam ❤ XOXO
Love this idea! My head is spinning thinking of making one of these as a birthday card for my son. Of course being male he may not exactly appreciate it LOL. Now to figure out what stamp sets and paper to use and get going on it...his birthday is in 10 days. Yikes...10 days!! I didn’t realize it was so soon until I wrote this comment. Thank you for this great tutorial. I see no problem converting the measurements to any size card. The visuals here are excellent to follow once somebody decides the size of base card.
Love it! I saved the video so I can make a special Christmas card for my mom and dad, and my grown kids, and my brother! You are awesome, Sam! So creative and thank you so much for sharing your talents!
Sam you did a great job explaining it! I’m really lousy at math so I enlisted my husbands help (he’s a mathematician!) to figure out the imperial measurements. I absolutely love this card it is very different! 💜😊
Sam I am in Canada, and although we are officially on Metric, i don't use it, lol I use Imperial, and we here, like the USA, use the 8 1/2 by 11 cardstock. They started us on Metric when I was in grade 4 and aside from temperatures and speed limit while driving, i never could get the hang of metric, lol.
Lovely card... it would make a lovely little mini album too. I am in Canada and already am thinking I could send it to my mum with photos of her new grandson. Now to figure out the Math lol. Thanks for sharing!
I really like this card, it would be great to include photos inside maybe of a new child in the family, or perhaps some poetry... I remember the type of cards my Mum used to send me which had lots of leaves with lovely words on, I get the jokey ones now from my Dad! I am definitely going to give this a go. ..thanks for sharing...
Again amazing cards Sam! Never seen anything similar before. Prefer the red version. Have quite a hard time using blue for X-Mas cards. Waiting for my latest DSP delivery and will definately use some of the papers for cards =)
Absolutely love this, any chance you could share how to do this but with just 1 inside card flap (no idea it's actual name sorry) rather than 2? Many thanks for sharing, absolutely loving the Christmas countdown!
Dear Sam, watching this 2 years later - when you made this card, I'd never even heard of Stampin' Up! - Jan(B) gave you the credits for this wonderful gift, I'd rather say than card and I clicked the link, so here I am. I love this project. It's so versatile, although it takes up time and would be quite expensive here to send because of the overall weight: Dutch Post go by weight, and this card, fully CASEd, will reach just above 50 gramms (I think). Hence: 3 euros in postage. Sorry, I'm babbling. What I really wanted to learn, is how you measure half centimeters?!? And was that Delicata Ink Pad sold by SU 2 yrs ago??? Faster than heat embossing, but without the magic. By the way, when I'm feeling down or very sorry for myself, I treat myself to a bar of Delicata chocolate!
American subscriber, too confusing -- I need the ruler for dummies that shows where everything is -- I would never be able to get this correct, thanks for sharing anyway.
Lyn Finley my theory is you just start with a card size you like, and figure out your measurements as you go along. There are lots of pieces the same size, so I don’t think it would be too difficult.

Beautiful!💖 I will make one!🤗 Thank you for sharing.
Just wondering, I looked in your videoes and saw no Halloween items, do you do them and I just missed them?
Absolutely love this, any chance you could share how to do this but with just 1 inside card flap (no idea it's actual name sorry) rather than 2? Many thanks for sharing, absolutely loving the Christmas countdown!
You could try reducing the inside piece by 2 cm and only score 3 lines instead of the 5 to get one hinge instead of 2, does that make sense?
I love these, so pretty!! Curious why you did not make the inner “pages” the same height as the binding?
Beautiful! TFS!

Eine tolle Idee!! 👏😻😺👍
Love this card. Thanks for showing us how to make it. Now, since I live in the US, I'll have to take a go at it. :)
Cindy Smith let me know what you come up with😂😂😂😂
Sam, please do this gorgeous card in IMPERIAL measurements! Thanks.
