Despite Nick being very thin, he isn’t a bad looking man. He also seems like such a sweet person. He really seems like someone that I would be friends with if I came across him in real life. It was very caring of him to comfort her when she was crying. Accolades to him for being kind and compassionate.
Yeah, I eat about that much in 4 days Edit: i am in a much healthier place now and have a dietician and therapist that have helped me tremendously in recovery.
Can I just say that Nick is really sweet, the hug, the gentle tone, and the dinner he added some flavours for her and checking if it is okay for her. Makes him even more attractive really.
Dr. Christian Jessen is really good at being direct and honest with his patients without being mean. Shows that he actually does care about his patients

These all add flavour to food. People have known about their health benefits for centuries, and even white people have realized. She's cooking with too much fat, but that doesn't mean that the spices are to blame. It's the excess of animal fat.
This guy actually has an okay diet, he just does not eat the appropriate amount, also he needs to add flavor to this. But obviously flavor is not needed.

Ive heard a lot of people don't agree with this show. But watching this show on youtube really helped me with recovery over the past few years. I struggled with my weight since I was 10 and I started watching this when I was 16. I was sitting between 98-100lbs for years because I didn't have time to eat and didn't want to eat when I had time. I'm 20 now and I'm finally at a reasonable weight for my age and height. I've maintained 117lbs for the past 9 months! It's still hard sometimes, but I'm happy I'm healthier now.
The body gospel teacher is so kind! I’m not religious, but seeing her use God, which many people look up too, to increase their health and well being is very sweet and incredible! Kudos to you!

From the mans introduction you’d expect him to be super fussy but it turned the other way round. He was so sweet and he actually tried as well. I think his diet was actually decent but he could have done with bigger portions and adding in small amounts of junk.
Not nearly enough fat or calories. Fat is an essential nutrient and he was cutting it out almost completely. If you eat like that for an extended period of time you will develop serious health problems. So no he was on the show for a reason and needed to change his diet

I think Saskia did not like the bland food so she wasn’t super interested in eating it, but I still wonder if her body had a reaction to it. I once saw another documentary where a woman changed her diet from highly fattening, sugary, salty, unhealthy foods to healthy whole foods with good nutrition. She ended up feeling very sick with headaches, fatigue, nausea, and was basically bedridden for a few days. The same thing happened to Saskia in this episode. She had an unhealthy diet of salty, fattening takeout food with little nutritional value, and then she ate Nick’s much healthier food, which her body is unaccustomed to. To me, it’s not a big surprise that she felt sick and nauseous.
Shes so flippen fussy. None of his meals looked bad at all, I would struggle with plain porridge but shes irritating me and usually it's the skinny ones that annoy me. Shes not even trying.
I really feel for Lisa. I found just quitting coffee to be really difficult, like I've quit so many times and I can't do it. I can't imagine have a powerful food addiction and having to overcome that. It's like with caffeine I know I need to quit because of the bad side effects I'm getting and I still can't do it. So I can understand that she knows she needs to change but just isn't mentally there.

Ive only watched a few episodes of this and he did amazing! Best skinny to healthy transformation yet. He gained 14 pounds! And I could tell she wouldn't do well.
And Nick is super sweet. He was right that she was in the wrong, she should have eaten the food, but people mess up and make mistakes and he responded correctly with love and support. She could definitely try harder though. I know how hard that can be from experience but the only thing that separates winners from 'losers' is discipline.

Nick is pretty adorable. He's so polite and nice. His before diet wasn't that bad either, he was just a little underweight from it. And he ate what he was being given. Being a food scientist must be an interesting job to have, you get to actually find out what is put in food, It's not everyday you meet one of those! Ellya Mossa i agree with the mean assumptions part but not with the rest sorry, she agreed to go on the show, she knew exactly what she sign up for, but she did absolutely nothing to change her situation while her counterpart tried very hard and went out of his way to improve his diet habits. It was mostly not fair on him. Even if she didn’t like some of the things she could at least have tried it in respect to him.
Really liked the dynamic of these two. I feel like it's such a good example of the time, because it sounds like both of these two have issues around food we know more about how. Saskia seems to have some texture issues and sensation seeking with food, and Nick maybe seems to have some restriction issues and possible borderline food aversion. But again, you can't diagnose from a tv show. Love these two and hope they get everything they want.
Lots of us watch it as motivation and for me (i dont think i have an ef but like i follow lots of people with them) its something i watch while eating so i dont eat too much or too unhealthy etc. This is like the one show every sufferer would watch if they had access.

His original weight was fine (for him). Some men have smaller bone structures and you can't always go by the charts. He probably wanted to get bigger to have more dating opportunities and might have experienced a partner's irritation with him being so initially inflexible about the type of foods he eats.

I think Saskia did not like the bland food so she wasn’t super interested in eating it, but I still wonder if her body had a reaction to it. I once saw another documentary where a woman changed her diet from highly fattening, sugary, salty, unhealthy foods to healthy whole foods with good nutrition. She ended up feeling very sick with headaches, fatigue, nausea, and was basically bedridden for a few days. The same thing happened to Saskia in this episode. She had an unhealthy diet of salty, fattening takeout food with little nutritional value, and then she ate Nick’s much healthier food, which her body is unaccustomed to. To me, it’s not a big surprise that she felt sick and nauseous.
When dropping the processed foods, people tend to under salt.
It’ll make you nauseated.
I found this out when I did the keto diet.
I like how this show also emphasizes that just because you’re skinny doesn’t mean your diet is right

I really feel for Lisa. I found just quitting coffee to be really difficult, like I've quit so many times and I can't do it. I can't imagine have a powerful food addiction and having to overcome that. It's like with caffeine I know I need to quit because of the bad side effects I'm getting and I still can't do it. So I can understand that she knows she needs to change but just isn't mentally there.

i always struggled with gaining weight and recently, I was at a healthy weight until I noticed myself losing weight again. this gave me motivation last night to cook myself a meal and I've been cooking 3 course meal since today :) i hope i keep this streak

Losing only 7 pounds over a couple of months at Saskia's size just isn't success. It seems like most supersizers manage at least a stone.
And Nick is super sweet. He was right that she was in the wrong, she should have eaten the food, but people mess up and make mistakes and he responded correctly with love and support. She could definitely try harder though. I know how hard that can be from experience but the only thing that separates winners from 'losers' is discipline.

Nick is pretty adorable. He's so polite and nice. His before diet wasn't that bad either, he was just a little underweight from it. And he ate what he was being given. Being a food scientist must be an interesting job to have, you get to actually find out what is put in food, It's not everyday you meet one of those! Saskia should have been more compliant and not have complained over the food she was given. How rude of her.

Awwwhh Nick is one of the nicest skinny people I’ve seen on this show
Really liked the dynamic of these two. I feel like it's such a good example of the time, because it sounds like both of these two have issues around food we know more about how. Saskia seems to have some texture issues and sensation seeking with food, and Nick maybe seems to have some restriction issues and possible borderline food aversion. But again, you can't diagnose from a tv show.
Love these two and hope they get everything they want.

Lots of us watch it as motivation and for me (i dont think i have an ef but like i follow lots of people with them) its something i watch while eating so i dont eat too much or too unhealthy etc. This is like the one show every sufferer would watch if they had access.

I think Nick will live a lot longer than most. I don't think there's anything wrong with his diet. A lot of people are eating their way to an early grave. Go Nick!
His original weight was fine (for him). Some men have smaller bone structures and you can't always go by the charts. He probably wanted to get bigger to have more dating opportunities and might have experienced a partner's irritation with him being so initially inflexible about the type of foods he eats.
