Watching this for my 15r from 2013!! Laughing pretty hard that the paste was still pretty moist and there was barely any dust inside of this thing. Meanwhile my newer laptop looked like a dust bomb went off…and I use the 15r significantly more.
Yeah, this one wasnt so bad. I just got this to clean up. Usually you not see the actual status of it, until you piece it apart, and when you see how much or not much dust/paste there you will do it anyways :)

Can we upgrade CPU in this model?
As you can see at 8:15 the CPU and also the GPU is soldered to the board permanently, so unfortunatelly you CANNOT upgrade in traditional way.
Probably you could desolder and resolder a better one what still fits but that require high knowledge on the field and very expensive tools.

I have intel Inspiron 15r 5521 with 6gb ram , so how much amount of ram I can upgrade and what kind of ssd or hhd I can upgrade both at highest .
@@chiragmahaver8451 Internally it supports 8GB RAM(2x4 DDR3 SODIMM). You can upgrade your HDD or SDD until 1 TB capacity.
only one thing i dont know if you can go 1 TB SSD into the HDD slot and after that how much you can install into the optical drive slot. Maybe there is capacity for 1tb more, but thats I'm not sure about

Things just fit in their place. All components are geometrically locked. If something not fitting, its not the place it should go.
when taking apart, try to feel the force for the screws, and only tighten them with the same. Little more not problem. Dont leave them loose. Also there is an order for the screws, as they not the same size. Take a note or place them in different boxes/plates so you know what to put where. Some photos also can be useful.
