Thank you for this interview. I discovered the movie after first hearing the soundtrack on youtube music. I loved Warren Ellis' earlier work on the Jesse James soundtrack. This one is very much in the same vein. It was interesting to hear that Warren Ellis made the music without having seen much of the images because I thought that the two are really symbiotic. Like he says in the interview, there is a meditative quality to the music and I'd say it's also found in the images. There is a rhythm to both which is reminiscent of the regular sound of a train car traveling on rails. Hats off.
