Dji Inspire screws fell off during flight

- Received repaired Inspire from DJi 2 days ago and this happened during its second flight if you look closely you can see that the screw fell out of one of the legs which caused it to be uneven and spin out of control Follow my actual page

This is worse than any horror film I've ever seen.... checking all my screws now...
This was an issue with the inspire one they fixed this with the I2 by putting in different bolts that can’t come loose.

@@felixkuhn1239 My cousin lost the tip (little over half of where the nail starts) of his finger because he was a dumbass and stuck his hand into the blades of a fjord mavic AIR 2, not even an inspire, it’s only safe if the drone isn’t in the air yet...

Finally I see someone else have the same issue I had. I was on an empty construction site thank god. I did a thorough pre-flight check and nothing seemed loose. Once I got about 100ft up it came loose and started spinning like yours. When it hit it threw the X5 camera about 10ft away and luckily it was ok and still in use today. The body however had some broken arms and now resides in my basement in the OEM case. Thankfully we had UAS insurance
I’m in the construction field and if this happens it’s purely the pilots fault if preflight is done correctly this should never happen
@@willbayuk6845 but a pre-flight was done and nothing showed being loose or any issues. We always do pre-flights and keep regular documentation

This can sometimes be caused by not lifting your drone on rough areas when operating the landing gear it puts a bind on the rams that move the landing gear ....

It happend me with my dji mini . At 30 meters latitude. And 2 helics screws fell .and it started going dawn.the ground. Luckily no damage. Replaced the relics all like new. Mini is a beast.

The geometry of the main boom is maintained by that lower boom connected with a single screw? This looks like a recipe for disaster. I commented earlier but removed it because I see what happened now.
A little dab of loctite can save you a lot of money. And if I’m gonna go out to fly mine I’ve made it a habit to check my screws before I do anything else. Started to do that after an expensive experience kind of like this one.

Your being dramatic I've been hit by my rc helicopter blades and while it hurt like a mofo and I have no doubt could have broke my finger and this blade was still attached but theres no comparison in the size deference I highly doubt a blade that much smaller that's no longer being driven would do much to you. Unless it hit you in the eye .. anyway these people are grown they all heard it taking off and nobody moved even after it was clearly having issues hell homie looked like he was ready to catch it.. anyway it's kinda lame for someone who wasn't there to bitch more than the people who we're in harm's Way

Wasn’t props coming off, as you can see they don’t. It was retracting the landing gear and one of the arms came loose, leading to asymmetry... and a crash.
These things have landing gear that retracts? This suddenly sounds way more expensive

The inspire isn't 10k and you can't get buy a new mini 2 for $400 and be flying.
