The club needs a cut throat mentality to compete at the highest level. Mourinho is a god at Chelsea and they sacked him because Chelsea last season were dog shit. That doesn't mean Mourinho is a bad manager, because he will turn around Man United's fortunes and is already starting to, but at that point in time, that particular manager could not get the most out of his squad, and now Conte has come in with some new philosophy and made just a few changes and the team is flying. This is exactly what Arsenal need to do. Get in a manager with a proven track record with some new ideas who is not afraid to sell the players who are under performing and seem disinterested and see how we do. My ideal choice for a replacement would be Diego Simeone, but there should be many top class managers who would be interested in the Arsenal job. This club has a rich history, stable finances, money available for transfers and a great stadium. That is a perfect platform for any manager to turn this club around.

The real Arsenal fans have had enough. This is Arsenal F'n FC. They are supposed to be one of the top teams in European and World football. This team has not played like they are that in years and there is no excuse that the money isn't there anymore. There is simply no. more. excuses. We didn't just lose. We got hammered. We have lost 3 of our last 4 games and we were not competitive against Chelsea or Bayern. Show me a top European club in England or any other country that would tolerate those results from their manager? If we lose those games 1-0 fair enough. We lost 5 fucking 1. Kieren GIbbs was wearing the arm band. What the fuck is going on at this club. This is Thierry Henry's club. Dennis Berkamp's club. Robert Pires' club. How have we even ended up in this situation? It's absolutely disgusting.
Wenger HAS to go 100%. There is absolutely no debate. We will be lucky if we finish top 4 this season, and the situation GUARANTEED will get worse next season. Why? Because Guardiola is in his first season with City and they have been average, but now he'll know who to sell, who to bring in and he'll improve the team. The same goes for Liverpool (Just look how much better they got after just signing Mane). The same goes for Manchester United. The same goes for TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR - they're a young squad who are playing better than us already who will get better since their players haven't peaked yet, plus they will invest money to improve the squad further. Liverpool/ City/ United are all teams in transitional phases. Arsenal have bought their expensive players and their team is at their prime age. There is no two ways about this and it is inconceivable that any fan with any logical understanding of football could say that this team is not severely under performing. SEVERELY. They put a lot of money into the team in the summer transfer window and our on pitch performances averaged over the season are not any better.
If the only evidence to support that Wenger should stay is his track record from over a decade ago and people claiming the team will be worse off without him and the fans will wish he would have stayed, then that is no where near enough to ensure the manager keeps his position at this point. The club needs a cut throat mentality to compete at the highest level. Mourinho is a god at Chelsea and they sacked him because Chelsea last season were dog shit. That doesn't mean Mourinho is a bad manager, because he will turn around Man United's fortunes and is already starting to, but at that point in time, that particular manager could not get the most out of his squad, and now Conte has come in with some new philosophy and made just a few changes and the team is flying. This is exactly what Arsenal need to do. Get in a manager with a proven track record with some new ideas who is not afraid to sell the players who are under performing and seem disinterested and see how we do.
My ideal choice for a replacement would be Diego Simeone, but there should be many top class managers who would be interested in the Arsenal job. This club has a rich history, stable finances, money available for transfers and a great stadium. That is a perfect platform for any manager to turn this club around.
