Thanks for the content. Your genuine nature makes all your videos a joy to watch. Loved your smile as you tested the strength of your grasses roots. 💪👍
Great tires all around! I don’t have a machine like yours lol. But I have a utility side by side. I’m genuinely happy for you, you’re living your life I wish my father would do the same.
I truly appreciate you comment. I'm struggling with some old age issues and I'm trying to fight through them. Thinking of you and your dad and wishing he stays active. It's not easy being a dad or son sometimes...I know I've been both. Be safe and thank you
Boy did I get almost as excited as you! Very few mods get me as excited as a new set of tires! As you mentioned, the single most important upgrade for many people is new tires. Good to see you in teaching mode especially with a smile on your face. Ride on
Don you and Mike were so right about the tires...I hope these tires are as tough as they look. You were ahead of the curve especially with the Teracross the best trail tire ever. Miss you be safe.
I hope you watched this video because the smile on your face as you accelerated was a perfect expression for that moment. Great lawn. Did the tires bite into the lawn? Watch every week because you have the greatest toys.
Richard when I ride off road I'm either gritting my teeth with fear or smiling ear to ear...it's so much fun. I was careful enough no damage to my lawn...it did pull-up a small bid here and there barely can see it. Thank you and be safe. Lucky to have you watch my videos.
Hi there, it’s been a few months and I’m wondering how your megabite tires are holding up, I am looking at those or the carnivore, but the carnivore are so darn expensive. Just wanted to get your opinion thank you for taking the time to do the video.
I've had the Carnivore tires...the megabites are so much better in mud and are a tougher longer lasting tire. They may be slightly heavier but it's worth it. I could not give the tires or Rocky Mountain's customer service a higher rating...I would buy again. Ride safe I hope this helps.
You picked a great tire and they look great on your Talon. Had my new 2023 Defender Max Limited not come with 30’s, this was the exact tire and rim I was planning on ordering from RMATV. I look forward to seeing how they perform out on the trail for you.
Scott I normally would not by a non ITP or Maxis tire...but the Tarabite has great reviews, RMATV was great to deal with...so I took a gamble on the Megabites. Be safe and thank you. Enjoy the Defender it is a great machine.
Great looking wheels and tires. Definitely an upgrade from the stock set up. I have heard good reviews on them and I bet you will enjoy them . Happy trails.👍.
Boy LM am I impressed with these tires. KRX is an awesome machine, it's a bull dozer. Glad you like it, BTW you change machines more than I that's great. Be safe.
Be sure to check and see if Rocky Mountain put an locktite on the bead lock bolts. Tusk says they might need to be retorqued up to 5 times before they hold, about every 20 miles. I had about 4 bolts per tire back out multiple times. I called the company I bought them from, and they said to blue locktite them. Once I did that, I never had another problem. We are road legal here, and ride at 50+ mph on a regular basis. That could have been catastrophic if I had not noticed them.
Tusk is really good that’s what I got on my can am 650 and they have really made me a believer I’m in Pennsylvanian and I got mine from Rocky Mountain atv really awesome company looks really good bud awesome video
I can't tell you how much I like this machine...the engine and gears are great, the tires are just icing. Thank you be safe...Pioneer is an awesome machine.
I have a R. I have been thinking about 30s. I think 32s would put too much stress on everything and have a negative effect on power. Did you notice any power loss with the 30s?
As you know, this is not a high horsepower engine, but the torque is more than reasonable. I didn’t notice any difference in the performance of the machine the gears just put it above. Anything else on the market good luck with your tire selection not an easy choice I think you might die easily be able to install 32’s on your R model, but I would really research that and I’m very happy with the tires I have on this machine I think 30 inch tires are fine. I hope my video helped you ride safe and in peace.
I have turbo SXS's that were extremely fast, great at climbing hills. In the Northeast our trails the speed isn't really needed...and at my age my riding style is more conservative. The 6 gears more than make up for the HP...no doubt she's not as fast as a turbo machine. thank you for commenting ride safe and in peace.
Awesome machine. I need your opinion I am looking for a full cab sxs I am a 300lb guy. I watched your videos and seen you have had experience with many machines. Which machine has most cab room for a bigger guy. I appreciate your knowledge thank you
If you intend to run trails I thought the Defender had the most room. I'm your size and fit in the Ranger...which is a great machine but I think the Defender is bigger in the right places. The. John Deere Gator is roomy but not the best trail machine. I hope this helps.
This all depends on your wheel offset I'm not an expert. The wheels do not match oem offset so the machine is 2 inches wider...I would have preferred to match oem. I believe I say in the video I had to install a rear spacer as unlike oem my rear rims are the same with of the front. I purchased everything from Rocky Mountain including the spacers I thought they were excellent to deal with. Do you research and measure your rims. I hope this helps. Maybe watch my video again.
The Carnivores are light tires. 34.5 lbs for a 30x10-14. I think they are the lightest tires in the category. I'm also going to a 30x10-14 tires on my YXZ. Nice upgrade. Run them with lower air pressure and get that plush ride.
I know Carnivores are light...I don't think they are great in mud. The Tusk tires are amazing I've very please with the tires rims and service. Have a great day and thank you be safe.
If I remember the rims front and back are the same size, the tires are 2" inches bigger...I clarify this in the video you may want to check it...it's been a while for me. Ride safe.

All men get excited over tires. Kind of like women and shoes

Another informative video, can't wait to see how it preforms on the trail.
Thank you, me also should have a video next week. Be safe

Love my Tusk tires so far. I went with 34” on the KRX. Excellent video!

Little Man is running the Megabites on his KRX.. He likes them.. You have a great looking setup there.. 👍
Thanks Doc, LM changes machine faster than I...I love that. Tell him hello and be safe.
@@maraudermitchelliLOL. That I do. Me and you are running a tight race on ride exchanges.

Phillip generally Tusk tires have great reviews....couldn't beat the price and I invested the savings into the rims. Thank you and be safe.
I wish i had that much clearance on my pioneer. I'd love to put a 30" on my machine

Just picked up a 2020 Talon. Enjoyed this video! Question on the wheel spacers... does that allow you to rotate your tires front to back?
Yes you should be able to rotate the tires the spacer would stay on the rear. Ride safe enjoy your Talon
How wide is your trailer
I think 69.5"...
@@maraudermitchelli thanks man 👍🏻
Uinta = You - in - tuh. It's a mountain range in Utah.
Thank you...I hope I remember my mouth moves faster than my brain.
@@maraudermitchelli Lol, no worries. I had a difficult time with it and I lived there for several years!
As always awesome content 😎
Thank you John I wasn't feeling good when I made this...I was struggling I'm glad it turned out ok and you like it. Be safe.
It is a slow sxs in terms of whats out there so don,t get me wrong.

A talon is in my future, where did you order those?
I’d recommend Hamburg Honda the owner Dan is awesome as is Cam salesperson. You will like them. Please contact them they are my friends 🙂
What kind of spacers are those and do you recommend front and back spacers? Where do you order from?

Do not forget to double check those bead locks, follow the torque pattern.
I will...that's many bolts to check. The first several I check were very tight. Thank you and be safe.

Amazing !
They perform extremely well. Thank you. Be safe
what is the wheel offset?
Good question, I mention in the video....I can't remember it is wider than stock maybe about two inches.
The only thing is they don't have ride command! :)
Greg you are so right...Ride command is amazing even on your phone app. Thank you for commenting be safe.
