Excellent interview and as always, a great return to the "good old days" Thank you for putting these DeadHead TV segments up on TH-cam. Much appreciated.
That "holographic effect" was why I always tried to get next to the soundboard at almost every show I ever attended. I got to talk to both Mr. Healy and Candace Brightman at shows at The Spectrum in Philadelphia.
Was thinkin bout Dan , while listening 🎶🎧🎶 to this D & C Final Tour because they're putting voices in the Drumz~Space and other Healy Effects.. and was curious as to whether he listens to D&C, and if he is proud ❤Ya Dan...you r the best
Many rumors circulated that Dan was turning down Weir in the mix. Why he got let go. I will say Bob's guitar tone in the 91' on sounded "plincky" to my ears . Course your mileage may vary

Thanks for posting part 2 !!!
You bet!
LOL at times in the 70's I'd think Bob's Guitar wasn't even plugged in ... Healy had it so low in the mix ! LOL
you tell me ?
I think it was pretty low in the '80s too. After Brent passed and Vince came along it seems like Bob got turned up.
Weir didn’t like the vocal effects. Which is why Dan probably added them. Dan wasn’t Weirs biggest fan

You know that any other band would have given him the boot after that. Divas they were not. Shows how how much of a community it was.
Wall of sound I was there from the beginning from Patti Cornell
I love what you're doing with this channel. Thank you for sharing all of this awesome vintage content, and keep up the good work! (~):-}
Thanks, will do! tell your friends!

Love listening to Dead Roadies
The greatful dead was a band of intellectuals.
i dont understand the photo at 5.45 , that dont look like 1989
didn't he get fired because he would always distort Weirs voice in the later years
He would turn weirs guitar down in the mix
