Hey guys, question on the placement choices. Would 8-3-4 left to wood port and 8-5-10 right to 10-9 (starting road) be a better version of the placements? Is 10-9 just too good and always gets taken? Trying to learn better placement ideas. Thanks!
Hey great choices! That would have been pretty decent starting with all the build materials and having the potential to expand to the 10-9 for rock. Also wood port potential. Thanks for weighing in, I think that actually would have been a great setup :)

That was a gunked up game. If you get stomped can you stil road past it? Also, you could have had a road to the right towards the red settlement on 11-3-10 to get you to 12 road. It wouldn't have mattered by the end of this game, but good to know more options at the time.
Hey mate. I’m red! Haha. Just to defend some of my early robs as I too think it’s a bit harsh to steal from the same person all 3 times. To start I ideally wanted his ore that he started with and thought he had the best position out of the three of you with double ore / double wheat. When I soloed him I owed Orange a non block so had to solo you or him and I had nowhere to solo you. Even if I did I think I put black ahead of you so I stand by my robs. Good content though brother
Heya red, great game aside from the meltdown from black. I was really hoping you’d comment because I knew you were a good player and would have a nice breakdown of your robs. I think that’s valid you were trying to snag a resource, it’s just so unexpected for someone to react the way black did. I do tend to avoid putting too much attention on one particular player early game but this was next level salt. Interesting game and what a funny turn of events that he ended up winning. I guess it all works out in the end lol. Really appreciate you checking out the content :)

Why Hello I would be interested in seeing you play in some competitive Catan Discords I find it a nice challenge really different to ranked people are more advanced and understand things a bit better be good if you really want to improve toats up to you though
Whats the point of blurring anything when anyone can check your colonist page and see the guys name? just makes it hard to read chat and follow anything..
Oh you're so right, I didn't realize that. Good call. I guess, that involves a few more steps, so this was to increase the likelihood that this player remains anonymous. I do this purely out of courtesy and to be respectful, but yeah you're right. I'll re-evaluate the approach. Thanks for the comment.
@@skunkbuddy101i know, but just makes me spend time looking for who it is, and who wants will do that, who doesnt do that probably doesnt give a shit about that guy anyway so its just better to leave whole gameplay with chat like the rest of them do, lets people embarrass themselves if they want to so badly

Oh yeah good call on the road to the 11-3-10 - I did not see that at the time. Coulda stopped reds road and expanded my own. Very gunked game indeed
