I did not expect to hear Greek music. Nice. Anyway, i recommend taking a look at Steel Fury. It's in my opinion the best WWII tank simulation ever made. Even gun sounds are very detailed. German high velocity guns had a slight whistle or ring tone at the end. You can even hear it in WWII footage.
this is starting to look very nice for optimisation i have advice to maybe look at the videos of Threat Interactive, idk if you have seen them but he has beef with how Unreal is optimized and shows how to properly optimize it and stop it from looking blurry. also i saw the artillery didn't have speed of sound implemented yet, this can be a very nice adition to all guns, cannons and explosions. although i play war thunder war too much (3,2k+ hours) i haven't checked out the realistic sound mod. it does sound good though but be careful! most other sound modders for war thunder have made their mods way too "cinematic" (what that even is suppossed to mean?) and not realistic. although gone for years now, Kiwi from KAGSM did make a really realistic sound mod. he was quite technical with it because he studied sound design and what i basically got from it that at altitude and greater distances and air pressure sounds from gunfire and explosions will not sounds like the full swooosh but more like a feisty pop! i recommend watching lots of war footage to really get that sound right. lastly because it has been an idea of mine for a theoretical War Thunder killer game (i really hate Gaijin and War Thunder) has been the best, most realistic dynamic gore system. it is war after all. i want to see the interiors of tanks being painted! 50. cals exploding bodies!, shrapnell goring enemies to the extreme! the shattered bones dropping them to the floor! the crawling and wimpering that comes with it. it should be interesting and shocking at the same time. i won't advise it if you don't want to, but war footage (modern and old) and liveleak are good start for this. (sorry if this is a bit too much, but i am just dissapointed most war games don't genuinely show how bad it is)

Hope I'm not late. Just a question, is the driving mechanics for tanks applicable for trucks? I don't think you can independently control the power entering each wheel of the truck.
Just as an FYI, nobody in the military moves around with their weapon pointed like that. The only time you point your weapon like that is when you are going to shoot someone. Normally it will pulled in tight, cross body for weight distribution and balance. I wish or hop you will include VR support.

This looks great, but i do wonder if there will be less milsim gamemodes? Like, sandbox to just mess around, plain PVP, even 5v5 or 1v1 tank e-sport type things while maintaining all the milsim tank features?
Ohoho… I probably don’t have a good enough Pc to play this, but I can already imagine quarreling with an unresponsive gearbox in the T-34 as you get lobbed with 75mm shells by a panzer 4… …but your still standing.
I hope not. Repairing vehicles is always so immersion break. Hate how Squad 44s tank gameplay is basically multi crew War Thunder. Some things can be sped up, like building fortifications, but other than fixing a tanks track, it shouldn’t be possible to repair them. And even destroying a tanks track should mean something, since a mobility kill greatly reduces a tanks efficiency.
They're a hybrid of level instances and blueprints set up for modularity. Some stuff will gets ported over to C++ sooner or later for performance reasons, but we're leaving as much as feasible in BPs for modders to work with.
Will their be realistic crew bailouts? Like the crew lifting the hatch(s) crawling out and jumping off the tank. Same goes for trucks like the blitz, entering would require opening, going past the door etc. Also, whats the damage model system going to be like? Im hoping more like WT than a wot health bar or squad 44 module health bars. I just feel like these questions would be important to me, because this game is like what GTA 6 is for others. People are hyped, and may need to get a PS5/PC just to get it, this is how it is for me for this game!
Idea: Mods. (BF[BattleField] or/with WOT[World of Tanks] and/or WT[War Tunder] modifications of tanks). Able to change even a tiny bit of every tank can always make it fun, whether through looks, fire power or something else. But its all just an idea.
Do you guys have Shrapnell when a shell explodes? like in war thunder when a shell explodes mid air you can see where the shrapnell hits the ground so it makes the dust pop out. Being REALLY picky here considering you are kind of limited resource wise but that'll be sick

This is an unbelievably impressive looking game, out of interest, what type of game will it be on release; More like war thunder, battlefield or arma. I absolutely will get this game on release if it runs on my computer, also are you anticipating console release? Also, what is the plan for visual destruction, will it be like warthunder of battlefield?
Between those it resembles Arma more closely. In terms of destruction, it's something we are internally investigating right now to determine what's feasible, and will likely be showing off before too long.

No, the control method is quite different, but a lot of the technical work can be applied to trucks in terms of engine, transmission... etc

Regarding the gunplay, could you make it so you have to manually work the bolt in bolt action rifles in realistic mode like in RS2 vietnam?
