That's actually really good to know Nebulocity. If that's the case it must be like have never done a greater rift ever in the game before or something?
Because when I found out about this the week of s12's launch from watching Bluddshed's video I had NEVER been in a challenge rift before. I waited until the night of season launch, created my seasonal character... then jumped right into a challenge rift. Did the same with s13, so I dunno?

The background music must be background music, I say this because around the mark of when the character is level 40 the bg music volume went too high I barely heard what you were trying to say, remember is supposed to be background music.
I agree Giancarlo... I was still learning how to properly set sound levels in Adobe Premiere when I made this video. I actually intentionally made the sound loud at that point because the rapper says "Are you listening", but it really didn't end up having the effect that I'd originally intended.

Playing Diablo 3 on my ps5 the witch doctor is fun of play I just use my summons , have a axe that has an change to summon an ghost

I'm happy to inform you that i didn't die and made it in 2 hours 58 mins to level 70 on hardcore and never went to T6 because i was scared that I would die there :P! That is fucking insane :D!

You can level solo in 2 hours or less now pretty easily.

This video could use a clear list of the events that are worthwhile to stop a killstreak for, it is very unclear for players not as familiar with the game. This is a really great guide but for us noobs could do with a little clarification on the basic stuff
Thanks BlaisZeroni, that's a really good point you brought up. This guide is older and outdated TBH... I've wanted to update and replace it for quite some time now that I've basically fixed my audio issues.
I see you commented on my recent live season 20 start as well. I'm planning on taking the raw footage from that and using it to create a new updated WD Solo Leveling Guide. When I do, I'll make sure to talk about what events are worthwhile to stop a killstreak for.
To sum it up though, there is only one worth stopping a killstreak for as far as I'm concerned: when you reach level 40 so you can go craft your level 70 weapon with level requirements.
Other then that, I'd say keep the killstreak going at all costs... you can always do what you want to do a few minutes later without it being a big deal, but if you stop your killstreak that experience multiplier is gone forever.

Why no quit to play Campaign at Level 16 and rush to the Skeleton King to get the Leorics Crown...potentially doubling the bonus exp from a ruby socketed into it? It takes just a few minutes to get there but you wear that crown till 70!
Good thinking homer. That's not a bad idea, and I am aware of it. Left it out because I don't do it myself as I feel the time it takes to play through to the skeleton king is better used leveling... but its a preference thing. I did mean to mention though and just forgot... so great catch!
I also didn't mention doing a round of act 1 bounties between level 21-23 in order to try and get the diagrams for either cain's set (50% exp bonus) or borns set (20% exp bonus). Left it out since it's not guaranteed you'll get one, but HAD planned on talking about it.
Let me know if there's anything else you'd suggest that I might or might not be aware of... I'm sure newer player's would love anymore juicy tidbits! Thanks for taking the time man!

I don't really understand what you mean? If you wanted to level in non-sesaon it would be the exact same?
The only difference would be after you reach level 70 it would take you longer to get some decent gear since you wouldn't have Haedrig's Gift?

What is your main attack? I use spider jar but not really a fan, i see you spamming a blue spell is that soul harvest? I sont see spirit barrage equipt..
It's been a LONG time since I've played D3, but if memory serves I'm pretty sure that the spell is called "Haunt". And it's blue because I think I picked the rune that gives you mana back

Hi I have been playing Diablo since around launch like you But I haven't played constantly and i have had breaks that have lasted years sometimes. I recently got back into it on a completely new account, started witch doctor (non-seasonal), played campaign, got to paragon 97. I have never, EVER played seasonal. And i have played quite a bit of the game and I feel like a noob because I kinda get what seasons are but not completely. I have been really enjoying getting loot, doing stuff, WHIMSYDALE and other stuff. I always wondered why people even play seasonal. Isn't it easier to just keep playing non season to save having to start ALL over again.
I realise that i have probably said some incorrect things but could you please tell me why people play seasonal and If I should be doing that too.

Happy to hear that you've made your way back to D3! Well, once upon a time ago when seasons first came out there was usually new items or tweaks to existing items that were only available if you played in the new seasson until that particular one had finished and then those items would be released to the general public in non-seasonal gameplay.
Now adays since D3 has been pretty much shelved and their staff are busy working on D4, there isn't as much of a draw to them, at least IMHO.
One draw I guess would be that every season you get a fresh chance to start with a new Haedrig's gift for a character-- which is essentially your first 6 pieces of a set for free. This really helps speed up the process of being able to play in higher levels. Especially considering you mentioned you'd played awhile and were up to 79 paragon, the average person starting a season would be around that mark within the first day at the most because of the boost you get from the Haedrigs Gift.

@@theshyguys3308 Yes, after the season ends all the items that you've found, as well as all the experience that you've gained during the season gets converted to your nonseasonal
So in other words, you have absolutely nothing to lose by playing seasonal characters and you get a guaranteed 6pcs of a set every time a new season starts.

can i do a challenge rift if its my first playthough? i cant find it
I think if it's your first time ever that you have to first unlock a greater rift before the challenge rift feature becomes available.
To do that, you would have to clear a regular rift and kill the guardian at the end who has a chance to drop a greater rift key.
Don't be discouraged though-- leveling to 70 is still an easy thing to do even if you don't have the money and materials from completing the challenge rift-- it just will take a little longer because you can't ramp the difficulty level up if you can't craft your lvl 70 item.
What's the background music in the first half?
Just random royalty free music I got from the TH-cam Audio Library... I think one's called Ever Felt pt.2, and another is called Mission Start but I don't remember the names of the other tracks off the top of my head.

Its driving me crazy seeing you in torment 6 doing 100k damage and killing this im lv 70 do 1m damage and can barley kill 1 t6 enemy i dont understand
It's because while you are leveling prior to level 70, even though you are on T6... it's a T6 that is geared to your actual character level. That's why I don't stay on T6 for very long as my character jumps up in levels and gets closer to 70 I drop down into t5 and t3 and even lower.
After you reach level 70 I wouldn't suggest trying T6 until you have the dmg boost from using a set of some sort.

Lmfao Alex! Yup... that was one of the first things that I bought myself. Unfortunately, this video is old. I've actually done the filming to do another tutorial, I just haven't gone through with the actual scripting and editing yet since I don't really focus on Diablo content anymore.
Maybe in November once Diablo 4 is announced?

I'm not 100% sure, but my best guess would be that you don't have elective mode enabled. Go into game options, and under the interface section make sure that elective mode has a checkmark on it.
