This game against Noha was the most tension full RTS game i have seen in my life, i almost got heartattack by only watching it, cant imagine playing it.. GG to both!

I really wish that he would just have built 4 mangonels and just fricking clicked into the middle of that longbow mass. The number of times he mis-micro'd the attack on the mangos and packed them up right before the reload was done...maddening. Not to mention the number of times he sicc'd 3 mangos on like...one unit. But again, playing and casting...hard hard hard :)
The fight against Noah was the most intense back and forth battle I have ever seen. That was awesome!!
I agree.. I just can’t understand how he’s ready to go right back into another game after one like that - I was exhausted just watching it haha

@@turinRTS I think its Spirit of the Law that has a breakdown on how farms work. Its really interesting and farm economy is a lot more complicated than it lets on. Highly recommend watching the video. Basically goes over gather rates like the English buffs and HRE. To sum it up faster gather rate has diminishing returns based on how farms work (HRE and english are still faster but not as much as the stat buffs let on). Interesting too is that chinese farms are different from all other civs so they benefit much more from techs like wheelbarrow.
I think everyone forgets the Imperial Officials can make military buildings work at triple speed. Once I hit feudal I just mass whatever I want with just one military building. Then you head to castle with the Clocktower and start pumping out Clocktower springalds at triple speed. Also, Chinese watchtowers have a handcannon emplacement instead of arrow slits, which is really useful vs. knights.
Yet an other HRE epic game and yet an other epic backdoor. Really awesome stream and games. Btw I will start calling you the backdoor man from now on in honour of your uncanny ability to time em so well and win on the back of them.

That HRE vs England Game was epic. After the second time you lost the sacred sites I thought you would lose the Game on time, but you did, you crazy son of gun you did it. By Sigmar forgive my insolence!

Tuuurin can you do like a build with a bunch of "wololo's" inside a ram? Then pop them out mid fight, convert some units, and pop back in..

It seems that in those long scrappy games the winning strategy is to pin your opponent and then dislodge him with a sudden flank\backdoor strike. Like in that HRE game you pinned your opponent in the middle and knocked out your opponent's backdoors with the wild rams. Resembles a bit martial arts.

The HRE vs English game is probably the best game of aoe4 I have seen so far, nerve racking af. Well played a lesser man would of crumbled to the pressure for sure!
First time I’ve seen you build stone towers! I used to love building epic fortresses with the walls in Aoe2

Even if you make the french horse run to the sacred sites, it's still a winz cause they won't be rushing your base that quickly and you have more time to prepare for that..

45:20 ish, why didn't you build the barbeque closer to your dock so you could protect your fishing boats too? I think you did something similar in the match before with a watchtower that could have protected two important areas simultaneously but ended up protecting only one.
Asking to see if there was a calculated decision or simply a mistake! :) Love your games as usual.
On HRE, check me on this, but if you know your going an Achen Chapel build, start moving your extra sheep towards it and build a mill. that way your getting a massive food bump as well.

For delhi. Mass producing scholars is not good. The sweet spot is 9 scholars in 3 mosques. Then you take them out and put them in military buildings and you essentially have 18 military buildings. I myself used to produce a lot of scholars in my first few matches but then I would have a tiny army. Delhi needs all the pop space it can get because of the elephant
Aye, I do 6-9 for mosques, use the rest for rapid production
the HRE vs England game was epic but might i ask why didn’t you build more knight and horsemen? Those are the hard counters to longbowmen, build up a force of around 20-25 knights and you would have flatten that horde of archers

@@tripler2271 Landsknecht are very much a specialist unit. They cost 5 times as much gold, have like half the health, and don't do noticeably more damage once you get the mace upgrade, assuming you are fighting enemy heavy units. They do AOE damage, but you can't really just build a ton of them, and my sense is that in higher skill matches, they are vulnerable to being focused down, especially as they share an armor type with your men at arms, meaning if the enemy is building to deal with your men at arms, he will have the crossbows he needs to shoot your landsknecht.
They also are surprisingly weak against springalds, being a very expensive slow moving front line melee unit that gets 2-shot by them.

I get the feeling talking out loud actually improves your gameplay, I know it helps me work better.
How about doing Delhi, open the same.. take the sacred site but build outpost instead of walls? Or both ^^

hmm to balance the game, it would be nice, if the castle bombards had a slightly longer range, than the siege bombards. It always frustrated me, when players inched in on a well build base, but you hadn't any option for firing back.

It's super painful to watch your siege units at the back of your formation get sniped out whenever you withdraw your forces. Otherwise I absolutely love watching you play

I didn't think it was WP on the French end. He just turtled to get the OP knights +upgraded archers. His map control and micro was bad, if he played as any other faction he would have been crushed.

Knights/lancers counter archers. Jesus. Three of those games were hard to watch. Man idk what I should do to counter all these archers/springalds... Knights or lancers/springalds/mangonels/nobs. Also when Chinese you need all four officials out and put one on the clocktower. You should have officials on food and gold and all villagers on those dropoffs for max returns. Just an fyi

This epic (2-hour!) and amazing battle between Viper and Kasva, with Viper on Chinese and Kasva on French is IMO a must-see for anyone interested in learning the Chinese civ: th-cam.com/video/D0rRMFZrWuA/w-d-xo.html . Viper uses crossbowmen and bombard cannons to great effect in the late game.
would be cool if you can showcase us macro England age IV longbowman with arrow volley upgrade (can be activate to increase longbowman fire rate by 70%) and network of Network of Citadels upgrade(outpost can give 50% attack speed bonus)and turn longbowman into machinegun man.Was wondering if the built is a legit? You built frontline outpost, pop active and gun them down.
