The Lindsay Lohan/Jamie Lee Curtis has a special place in my heart as it came out when I was visiting Germany as a teenager and it was the first film I saw in a German cinema.

I absolutely love the book. I’ve read it so many times since I was a kid. It is so humorous and it has a wonderful message. I’d still love a movie version that is more faithful to the source material. Also, I agree with you that the original 1976 movie is the best of the franchise, and the 2003 version is great too.

With Disney, there’s almost always a book.

What the that's awesome I watched the 1976 version it was very dated but then the 2003 version stepped up a caliber by using fortune cookies and then 2018 version stepped it up further using hourglasses as it's magical mechanism.
