Yesterday and today I was looking for Lost Dream remixes after going through PC98 OSTs. Then for an unrelated reason I go through your channel again... I immediately clicked on this after reading the title
And i'm back again! I'll always come back to this accordion version of the song because I love it that much. Even if the last time I visited was 7 months ago (whoopsies). Your channel hasn't really been active for 2 years or at least you haven't uploaded anything for 2 years. I guess that means you passed your competitive exams and don't have much time anymore for these wonderful arranges of music right? Well, I hope you're at least doing alright in life Koishi, don't let your dreams vanish away.
I actually have very fond memories of playing this game with my older brother a while back. I first asked him to play this game with me and I'd play a few games of Custom Black Ops 3 Zombies Maps with him (which I never liked in the first place). Surprisingly, he loved the game and we would spend the next few days competing against each other to see who could survive the longest, I'm pretty sure our longest match was about 12 minutes in length. Last week after doing a bit of research I managed to unlock Chiyuri and Yumemi so we sat down to play the game once more! We still play this on occasion but nowadays we play Touhou 12.3 or 9 if we felt a little competitive. Just listening to the this cover already brings back so many memories despite the fact that our first time playing was around one month back, all and all you once again did another Touhou song justice.

There's no more hesitation, no more thinking that you could've done better. Each piece that you do screams its whole presence, shares all the emotions that the musician had in mind while composing. Honestly, I've been hoping that you would go and do some for a while now, so it's nice to see that the time has finally come. And to think that I even did a Seihou track before this one... I had planned to do Lost Dream months ago, but I didn't really know what to do with this theme to be honest. And then I found the part at 0:42, and after that everything became easy. It's funny how a single idea can clear everything. DDC soundtrack needs more love, especially Magical Storm. Omg, I never knew you made this! Vanishing dream makes me think that the character faces reality and it sounds lonely because that is the reality. That's why this theme as well as bridge people no longer cross are my 2/3rd favorite themes with Phantom Ensemble being the 1st

I remember finding your channel looking for remixes of my favorite track, Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom (otherwise known as NUCLEAR FUSION) I never did play the accordion, but I love music, and did play music when I was younger. I wish you luck, as I can tell you have a lot of talent, and you're doing something great with it! Keep up the good work, and never stop growing!
The channel is almost 9 years old now! And this song 2 years. This arrangement of yours really is one of my favorite versions of Vanishing Dream ~ Lost Dream and I kinda wanted to pick up an accordion just to learn and play this song. But when I look at your fingers, it looks mighty difficult. All those buttons you have to know where they are, what they do, and then try to push the correct one down because they look so small. I'm sure with practice, I'd be able to know what all the buttons do but it'd be really difficult for me to press those buttons correctly.
Thank you again! It's a matter of practice, really. I would even say it's easier than piano since when you play in different keys, the fingering patterns remain the same. Also the fact that the buttons are small makes things easier when you need to play notes that are distant from one another. So yeah, accordion isn't as difficult as it looks.
I guess I can summarise the process in a few words: I don't know. Almost every arrangement has a different process. Sometimes it comes from improvisation, sometimes I just have an idea while I'm doing something totally unrelated. I'm quite glad that you are interested by the process though, and I guess it doesn't cost anything to write about a specific exemple. So I'll think about it.
I wanted to comment on this video every 4 or 8 months but It's passed 4 months and i'm not patient enough to wait another 2 months for 8 so Imma do it again at 6. Still love this theme so much. I really do hate how little attention it gets. Maybe hate can become passion and it'll inspire me to start making music myself.
