  • I love good fiction and, while these are probably written for 12-15-year olds, I love Disneyland and I read the series.
    Disappointed in every single volume.
Ridley Pearson gets his heroes into tough spots and then, all of a sudden they are home, walking around Disneyland or Walt Disney World, or somewhere with no explanation as to how they got out of the tough spot.
While "simple," and written for a younger audience, books need to be complete. Jumps without explanation are poor plot continuity issues.
When referencing actual assets of the Disney parks, those references need to be factual. There is no steep ladder leading down into the Mark Twain Riverboat at Disneyland. The boiler and power pistons are all on the main deck and the Mark Twain draws something like 24" of water.
    Highly recommend other fiction sources.
    Thanks,
    Rex
