from what i've seen, the union carrier - buster lock is slightly better than the dragoon package, since it plays around dark ruler, and the vylon cube + smoke is great for side decking in once u know youre going first. But boy do i love this deck
I've been looking for Dragon Link profiles that utilize Dragoon without the Garden Rose Maiden/Black Garden combo and Union Carrier combo, so THANK YOU for this.
I really love how aggressive the build is and how it's able to spam the board at will. Definitely a going first deck though. I highly recommend dropping the pieces you're not really seeing consistently like you want to and replacing them with some solemns and backboard disruption.

I’ve been rubbing rokket at it’s full power for about 8 months and when I pulled Halqi over opening only one duel overload box..(it was destiny) I’ve found a lot of success using garden rose maiden, as an extender to give me even more chance at full combo. I’ve also ran with the union carrier lock. The 60 card variant has been the most successful for me as well. My extra deck: X2 striker dragon Elpy Piety Romulus Anaconda Halqifibrax Linkross Unchained Abomination Appolusa Borreload Savage Metal marcher RED dragoon Garden rose maiden Union carrier (buster dragon lock) The garden rose maiden i felt was necessary as it allows a greater chance to play through more hand traps and to recover. Also, i run the union carrier/buster whelp extra deck lock solely to lock my opponent out from super polying Savage and Dragun. If both of them are on the board it’s pretty much game. You can run silver rokket and combo off with unchained to banish the opponents dragun or other deadly threats. Through my countless practice hands i have ended with appolusa, Savage, predaplant, dragun. Dragon link is my favorite because of how flexible the extra deck is! Arc light is amazing as well to protect those hand traps. The kryptonite is definitely nibiru. Tbh you can recover through most of the other hand traps. Depending how things go, i may play arc light. I’m still back and forth
Also, if you can bait out the opponents dragoon negate, you can easily power up your Savage dragon to over 4200+ attack using union carrier to attack over a boosted 4000 attack dragun
I think both are good techs. Personally i like wyvern cuz u can possibily get back one of your red eyes but retro is a really cool hand trap for red eyes

U can also run a Garden Rose Maiden so you have another copy of white rose or red rose on the field, it's so nice that youtubers like u at last recognize how this deck is powerful!

Hey dude I think you made a mistake. From Cryston Haq to your special summon of red rose dragon you can't activate red rose dragons effect after using it for syncro material due to Cryston Haq not allowing the effects to activate for the monster it special summons. correct me if Im wrong.
That’s very close to what my deck was already, but I play 8 hand traps instead and run a small dragonmaid engine to have more extenders :) well done with the deck build
How is the dragonmaid working for you? I was thinking of testing it but feel like it might b kinda bricky compared to a pure build with more hand traps
Vegetto Black Vegetto Black I just use two chamber dragonmaid and 1 dragonmaid hospitality. Chamber is a one card combo and cause of the 60 card deck, it’s very unlikely you’ll draw into the spell that is searched from chamber. I also thought about using 3 chamber, 1 parlour, 1 hospitality and 1 dragonmaid tidying. Use the chamber first then the rest follows :) But truthfully I stick to the either 2-3 chamber and hospitality and leaves room for the red eyes dragoon package
i run galatic dragon and overlay for hope harbinger or turn two go into ding to send something instead or arc light and link cross its way more effective' its quicker and can not only be used for the negate but he force all attacks to him, although i do like the arclight combo with my chaos thunder dragons! but that's because i heavily rely on the banish zone playing chaos is like having 3 hands lol
Are those petrol Dragon Shield sleeves? And with my luck, even though there’s only one Dragunity Phalanx in a 60 card deck, I’ll open up with it in my my hand more often than not 😅
In the first combo you should’ve used tracer to summon pisty, then revive tracer. That would’ve left you with pisty and striker dragon to make anaconda or union carrier if you’re playing that route 👍🏽

I say games 2 and 3 because most decks don't main the shit that's a problem for them like DRNM and Nibiru n shit. If they ban buster whelp, I understand. NeedleCross? Absolutely. Anything beyond that . . . Idk
Yea dinos is my other main besides dragon link n i think dinos are the sleeper best deck of the format because they handle games 2 and 3 better than d link. D link has game 1 almost always but it needs some really good teches to b stronger games 2 and 3
@@VegettoBlack I think Dino is just okay, honestly. Being a pure go 2nd deck comes with a myriad of problems. Especially when your deck lives and dies by Misc activating successfully. Not having the Gamma in hand game one with a way to your Misc is an easy way to lose game 1. Games 2 and 3 you have a better chance of fighting back, but they also now have their side answers vs you. In many cases, we kinda just end our turn vs Lancea. If you play on a local level and people know you play Dino, prepare to see that shit EVERY game 2 and 3 lmao
Well that's been costing me to bring herald out because someone told me at locals that with hearld out on the field that when u pay the cost for anconda that red eyes fusion would get banish so dragoon couldn't come out... Sorry man but I lost because of that ruling it suck

They would have to hit alot of cards because 60 cards is plenty to essentially get 15 different cards that can get you to a full combo, atleast ending on 2 big negate monsters ie savage dragun appalousa
That still doesn't work. 😂 Not only that you need to open cards that cannot be searched (Lava Golem, Limiter) Against a deck that provides at least 3-7 disruptions on board + an 80% chance of at least 1 hand trap.

I hate when people say "this is the best deck" . Ive beaten meta decks with tenyi and crusadia guardragon. So far numeron is my fun deck that kicks out a lot of damage
Why no one playin Red Eyes Retro Dragon? Red Eyes Wyvern is just a card you actually dump to the graveyard and dont even use its effect. Retro Dragon is a Dark Monster so you could actually discard it for Chaos Space.
I can’t understand these 60 card decks. I run my dragon link deck at 44-45 cards with 7 hand traps and still have all the combos and end boards that the 60 card deck makes. Why run so much stuff?
Can someone tell me how he synchro summoned at 10:33 . His link monster wasn’t pointing to that monster zone. Pls I’m trying to learn Yugioh again. I saw Konami video explaining links . And the rules I saw Konami explain to me does not apply here? What’s happening
You watched a video explaining master rule 4. Yugioh has master rule 5 now, which kinda makes things go back to normal before links. Synchro and xyz monsters can be summoned to any monster zone again without a link. Link monster arrows now only affect other link monsters and i think pendulums.
Especially with a deck like D-Link. Sure, it‘s good to know what the basic combo is, but the deck‘s strength is being a linear combo deck with non-linear adaptability. Showing how combos deviate when you get handtrapped (for example: how do you do full Guardragon combo with your sole access being Halq?). Also the combo deviates greatly depending on your hand (how do you preserve as many extenders as possible?).
Good thing about the power of my dragon link deck: its powerful Bad thing about that: i cant play it on any tournament Very bad thing about that: next banlist will dragon link not be untouched, i think they will ban elpy and then the deck is dead

After you summon brotour from deck you can also target herald of arc light and search lancia- hella busted

Not only that you need to open cards that cannot be searched (Lava Golem, Limiter) Against a deck that provides at least 3-7 disruptions on board + an 80% chance of at least 1 hand trap.
TheCaliEffect [King Of Games] idk, im playing hand traps as well and i got desires and dont forget memories of hope. I usually ghost ogre striker dragon. Ive broken a lot of boards just sayin. I hate when people say "this is the best deck" . Ive beaten meta decks with tenyi and crusadia guardragon. So far numeron is my fun deck that kicks out a lot of damage

in the video you say three copies of world legacy guardragon but you put 2 copies.
Why no one playin Red Eyes Retro Dragon? Red Eyes Wyvern is just a card you actually dump to the graveyard and dont even use its effect. Retro Dragon is a Dark Monster so you could actually discard it for Chaos Space.
I still like garden rose maiden more than martial metal.

I can’t understand these 60 card decks. I run my dragon link deck at 44-45 cards with 7 hand traps and still have all the combos and end boards that the 60 card deck makes. Why run so much stuff?
Lower chance to open the bricks
It lowers chances of running bricks and increases chances of getting combo pieces. That’s the idea at least

You watched a video explaining master rule 4. Yugioh has master rule 5 now, which kinda makes things go back to normal before links. Synchro and xyz monsters can be summoned to any monster zone again without a link. Link monster arrows now only affect other link monsters and i think pendulums.

Idk if it’s just me, but I really like the “test hand” videos more then just random card combos..:/
Especially with a deck like D-Link. Sure, it‘s good to know what the basic combo is, but the deck‘s strength is being a linear combo deck with non-linear adaptability. Showing how combos deviate when you get handtrapped (for example: how do you do full Guardragon combo with your sole access being Halq?). Also the combo deviates greatly depending on your hand (how do you preserve as many extenders as possible?).
