I found this song on my daughters playlist and was worried that it may be a bad influence on her so I listened to it. Some background first, my daughter is very smart, sweet and beautiful but has problems fitting in. Her few friends seem to have abandoned her over the past few months leaving her with no friends. I struggle to understand how that is possible because she seems like she'd make a great friend to anyone. I was always awkward but never had problems making friends in school and it breaks my heart to know she's going through these years alone (parents don't count). This song gives a positive message to kids like mine and lets them know they aren't alone. Thank you @Cadmiummusic for making this song!

She has no friends because people will make fun of you for the smallest things (for example shirt color). I know this from experience. But it's honestly not that bad as long as you have some sort of get away. Example: for me it was drawing. But stress can build up and turn into bad habits. It's could be uplifting to know it's better to have no friends than to have toxic ones (also know from experience) and people will eventually decide to stop being jerks. A good way to deal with it is therapy. While it may seem unnecessary, having a professional to talk to your problems about can help a lot. Sometimes it could just be them being an introvert though.

I’ve literally been the person who wades new people into school or into a new job and then when they get comfortable and start talking to new people they leave me behind and forget about me. I am very happy to finally found a song that I can truly relate to! I love this song so much! Everything about this song is perfect! Throughout my school years, I never had any true friends. Although some people want to befriend me because they think I'm interesting, but it's just not meant to be. I don't even feel like my true self when I'm with them. I feel like I have to always act this idealized version of me created in their head to keep the friendship going and it's making me miserable. I feel like I'm wasting my life by forcing something that's not meant to work. The saddest part when I try to keep my so called "friends" is that I choose to abandon myself just because I can't stand feeling alone at school. As a result of that, I allowed myself to be betrayed, disrespected and used numerous times. I've always thought I'm not normal because I'm not like everyone else and I even feel bad for being different. The majority of people can easily befriend anyone, while I'm having a hard time looking for genuine connections. I realized that I am okay. It's just that I haven't found my people yet. To me, a friend is not just someone you have a good time with. They are your family. Truuuuuuue 😂 I had a nice teacher who understood I wasn’t meant to work in a group of people and he let me do the projects on my own. He was truly a lifesaver, one of the girls I was paired up with was toxic and really killed me mentally. I’m glad he allowed me to leave that group and work on my own, I got work done faster and felt safer

This song legitimately describes how I have been throughout my school years. I was a fool to think they're my "good friends", but it turned out I'm just theirs "passing times", I thought having a lot of friends would make me a cool kid, I was so wrong about it and I became an introvert while having depression a long way. I’m an 11 year old girl, I’m in grade 6, I’m a loud fun person, I’m very outgoing. I have people in my life who care about me, I don’t see them often. The people I hang out with usually ignore me or disagree with my idea then someone else says one of my ideas and everyone loves it. One of the girls I went to kinder garden with I go to school with and we hang out a lot but she mostly ignores me and chooses others over me. There is many people who talk behind my back. I hit puberty early so I have pimple’s and I’m uniquely tall. Not the tallest but tall on how it’s weird. Many people call me fat when they are fatter then me, I’m often called ugly a whale and a pig. My own friends have once called me that, at group activity’s I pretend I want to do it alone cause I’m too shy to ask anyone and nobody wants or thinks about asking me. Everyone thinks I’m a freak. When people are mean to me I don’t know what to say. Thank you for reading this if you did, it was nice to finally get out.

I am very happy to finally found a song that I can truly relate to! I love this song so much! Everything about this song is perfect!
Throughout my school years, I never had any true friends. Although some people want to befriend me because they think I'm interesting, but it's just not meant to be. I don't even feel like my true self when I'm with them. I feel like I have to always act this idealized version of me created in their head to keep the friendship going and it's making me miserable. I feel like I'm wasting my life by forcing something that's not meant to work.
The saddest part when I try to keep my so called "friends" is that I choose to abandon myself just because I can't stand feeling alone at school. As a result of that, I allowed myself to be betrayed, disrespected and used numerous times.
I've always thought I'm not normal because I'm not like everyone else and I even feel bad for being different. The majority of people can easily befriend anyone, while I'm having a hard time looking for genuine connections. I realized that I am okay. It's just that I haven't found my people yet.
To me, a friend is not just someone you have a good time with. They are your family. You can be your true self without the fear that you'll be judged because you know that they have your best interest at heart and they genuinely appreciate who you are. They support your growth and development. They make you a better person and they are also a positive force in your life.
I guess my bad luck in friendships is definitely a blessing because I can easily cut off the wrong people and attract the right ones.
What I really love about this song is that it emphasized self-love and that is what I truly need in my life. I don't have to spend my life waiting and finding friends. I just have to be a friend to myself, since she is the person with whom I'm gonna spend the rest of my life and she has always been there for me

Truuuuuuue 😂 I had a nice teacher who understood I wasn’t meant to work in a group of people and he let me do the projects on my own. He was truly a lifesaver, one of the girls I was paired up with was toxic and really killed me mentally. I’m glad he allowed me to leave that group and work on my own, I got work done faster and felt safer

This is literally me, I’ve not talked to my BFF for 2 months.. even though we have contacts, I feel the same, I think I annoy them and they don’t want me. Especially with one thing that happened...so I tend to sing this, because truly, even if I have friends, most of them are online and don’t talk to me much. I feel inside I have no friends and I like that. I like my friends but I don’t like having friends cause they can really hurt you, and I don’t want that to happen. I was a fool to think they're my "good friends", but it turned out I'm just theirs "passing times", I thought having a lot of friends would make me a cool kid, I was so wrong about it and I became an introvert while having depression a long way.

I’m an 11 year old girl, I’m in grade 6, I’m a loud fun person, I’m very outgoing. I have people in my life who care about me, I don’t see them often. The people I hang out with usually ignore me or disagree with my idea then someone else says one of my ideas and everyone loves it. One of the girls I went to kinder garden with I go to school with and we hang out a lot but she mostly ignores me and chooses others over me. There is many people who talk behind my back. I hit puberty early so I have pimple’s and I’m uniquely tall. Not the tallest but tall on how it’s weird. Many people call me fat when they are fatter then me, I’m often called ugly a whale and a pig. My own friends have once called me that, at group activity’s I pretend I want to do it alone cause I’m too shy to ask anyone and nobody wants or thinks about asking me. Everyone thinks I’m a freak.
