- The past year, the Silly Meter has been broken. The Loony Lab scientists have been (probably) working nonstop at their top secret lab on the outskirts of Toontown. One day, Professor Dimm accidentally found out what REALLY makes the Silly Meter work- Now all they need are a bunch of toons to power it! (And a singer, of course.)
This video was entirely made in Panda3D, not the Toontown client. I was sick of seeing the flashy effects used in Toontown videos nowadays and wanted to show that you could not only make a cool video without effects, but to tell a story along with it.

I guess you're not even close to mediocre at anything Vimpixra.
It may seem mediocre now, with cheesy old youtube video effects and the usage of the wrong font but it was quite an impressive video at the time, especially since most of, if not all of it was made in panda 3d, the engine used for toontown rather than being in-game itself
I used to think that this was actual footage from the game.
Fun fact one of the jokes the cogs tell with the new remotes references this video

while fighting the boiler yesterday i used a remote. the cog made a joke about how the boiler was fire burning, i knewi had to come back and watch this again. to think we'd see that unused room so many years before ttr would use it in their fo update!! nostalgia is precious to me

@shermko22 It's actually the Toon Resistance. You can see the main one, the red dog, is Lord Lowden Clear from the Toon News.
Actually, if you listen closely they are stomping to the beat of the music. That area that Sir Max is in is an unused Cog Field Office area. I did some coding to make the stompers go to the beat of the music. I have no idea what they are going to do when TT releases that part.

That's what I was thinking.. I'm subscribed to madtoontownreturns and like his work, but this takes what he does to the next level by doing it in 3D instead of snapping pictures and moving them across the screen.

This is really sad now...
I literally grew up with this game, when they said they were shutting it down I actually started cutting. It sounds crazy but I had played the game since I was 5.
I miss this game, I look forward to TTR though! :)
