I got to be real honest, 2pac character was a psychopath in this movie, but he made a very solid point. You got to get the ground beneath your feet, and the wind behind your back, and go out in a blaze if you have too, if not your nothing, your better off dead. I've seen violence where I am from, and I've been in some serious gun fights throughout my life, and I really think the whole experience made a real man out of me. This is why a lot of people respect, 2pac because he is too real!!!

I stayed replaying this movie over n over as a kid. That wasn't non-sense he was speaking, Bishop was conscious and simply was dropping knowledge to these fools about the everyday struggle that blacks have to endure, oppression, fear, running and death. His friends were cowards, too submissive for him. After that scene Bishop changed lol.
He comes from a family of soldiers, some of his family members were members of the black panther party. Even though this is a movie I understood where bishop was coming from.
He wasn't speaking about fighting for civil rights, he was talking about killing people because he feels that he has control over their lives. Don't forget he did kill an innocent man, and he also admitted to Q that he was crazy, and didn't care about innocent human lives, because he did threaten the lives of his own friends.
