Terry Meeuwsen, the founder of Orphan's Promise, shares Aye's story from Myanmar. Aye had to sell their farm animals to pay for her children's food and school and then was left rationing rice for her children's meals. After some time, she was able to find a job selling vegetables, but was only able to make $1 a day. When Orphan's Promise found out about this family, we were able to train Aye to run her own grocery and convenience store. Now, she's able to provide for her family.
