This time the Korean subtitles are out of sync. I’ll give it a try anyway, so useful. The previous interview about American food was the first Korean conversation that I could actually understand. Thanks!
This is a unique channel. I like that the conversations aren't scripted. You probably have a rough idea of what you want to talk about, but you let it flow naturally. Every other channel, it seems, just follows a boring, unnatural script. I want to learn Korean the way Koreans learn Korean!
It's actually scripted. We just had memorized every single word before we filmed.... just kidding, and you are right the whole thing is unscripted. Based on your feedback it appears that it was the right decision :-)
@@SpongeMindTV Haha, good opening line. I almost believed you....for a nanosecond! I don't know of any conversations in real life that are scripted. They just go with the flow, as yours do. You're an expert at asking the right follow-up questions to keep the rhythm going. I'll watch all your videos, for sure.
@@SpongeMindTV Well, I'm an old adult now, and I'd love to have a teacher as relaxed and spontaneous as you. I'm subscribed, and eagerly await all your video uploads.
@@canadianroot I give private online lessons for Korean and English learners (Sang-joon, the boy in the video, was actually one of my students), and they often fall asleep because I am so relaxed. I am considering more yelling.
I really love this format. But can I ask you to not add the subtitles directly in the video? I would love the option to turn off the English so I can concentrate on only listening without "cheating" ^^
Thanks for the feedback! In fact, I've been debating in my head which subtitle format is better, embedded or captioned. I was afraid that some people are not very tech-savvy and they don't know how to turn on and off the sub :/ But what you said also makes sense. Let me think it over. Thanks for watching!
@@canadianroot Hi, are you asking me to embed subtitles as closed captions you can turn on and off? Right now the subtitles are always displayed and maybe that's what you didn't like?
@@SpongeMindTV I just turn off subtitles on TH-cam's settings, because it interferes with the embedding. I like that you've embedded your subtitles, because it helps me to understand what you and your guest are talking about. I can replay it, slow it down, jot down notes, etc. to help me learn.
I love this series...thanks so much!
Glad you like it! More coming.
I love these videos 감사합니다!
Thanks for watcing!
This is so good to learn new words and expressions! Love it
Thanks for watching :)
ThnQ so much🙏

I was in the middle of working on it and that's why. It's all synch'ed up now.

@@canadianroot Thanks for the encouragement! I would love to do another conversation series with this boy... probably a young adult by now :-)

갑사합니다
Could you please make double subtitles? Korean and English. It would be soo useful.
Hi~ yes that was the plan but there was a delay making the Korean sub, using the TH-cam subtitle feature. Working on it right now :)
Ok the korean subtitles are all done. you can turn it on in TH-cam now. thanks for waiting!
love this speaking pace!
Thanks for watching :)
이걸 좋하해요. 영상을 계속 업로드 해 주시면 좋겠어요
그렇게 하겠습니다 :)
