Nathan... great way to finish up this adventure. Sorry we missed out on the last camp, would have been fun to get back to Casey's meadow again. 2019 - I came in at Midnight after you all had camp set and most were liquored up around the campfires or had already turned in for the night. I camped down by Casey away from everyone. Oh, and you my friend are a true Overlander and one of the kindest and best representations of what the community promotes. Editing was awesome and thank you for always putting forth the effort.
There's something cool about seeing someone else's viewpoint on a trip I went on. Like getting to enjoy it twice! You totally downplayed that casual stroll up past the pond. I lost nearly 9 pounds on this trip and it HAD to be that hike!
Twice, on last month's Peggy Sue's 50s Diner restaurant review, I either thought it was off, and it was on, or, the opposite, which cost me a chat with a couple of Rambler owners. I feel your pain... 8:31 One of my favorite YT channel hosts uses that line! 😏 Just know that I know you're setting the hook on this overland fun. And, I've said I'll never sleep in a tent again! As always...
Really wish I could have stayed that last day. That small coolant leak I was having is still a mystery. Has not leaked a drop since hitting Hampton. Better safe than sorry, but that last spot looked awesome. 🤙🏼
@@ricki7187 I don't think CRVs are a bad idea for overlanding in general. I think this specific CRV had some issues though. This particular trip was a bit too extreme for a shake down run maybe.
@@RevN3 I was behind him both times he bottomed out, destroying the EVAP cannister and finally ripping out the transmission wiring. Just not enough ground clearance for those roads with no skidplates. I know it's an older model but the Subaru was having no problems at all where he was struggling. I still say 8" of ground clearance minimum with 10" desired on roads like that.
As requested! .. breaking the trip into three chunks .. i like it ..
That's true.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@Adventure2wheels That is very kind of you to say sir.

Great video there. Thank you for posting your adventure!
@@NorthwestBronco Thanks Brian! We need to hang out more next time 👍
@@RevN3 For sure, I'm a bit of an introvert (in case you haven't noticed) but I do enjoy the company of overlanders. Stay in touch!

@@TonyO07 Well the vast majority of it was upside down pants, my bad.
Oh! And if you haven't seen it make sure to check out the video @adventure_jason made of the trip too!

@@lifewithjosef look into a Gazelle Tent. They are large and easy to setup. They are pretty common in the overland community.
Great video series! Also, thanks for all you do for the community, you are a fantastic friend! Lastly, technically you did stop on the way back.. 😁😉
@@offgridrecon I think technically I was still going forward 🤣
