Thank you for this informative and well-reasoned presentation, Christine. I'm learning from you and appreciate your calm, non-salesy demeanor.
Great content. Thank you.
Christine as always you are the best explaining this stuff. Would 3 years income in short term us treasuries meet the bucket 1 requirements?
Great video!
Love her articles on Morningstar.
Sequence if return and low yield risk may be mitigated by basing withdrawals on a rolling average of returns. Timing risk may be mitigated by projecting inflation adjusted returns projection. All these items are based on data points that must be gathered over years and not rules of thumb. You also need to track and average out inflation.
Mam,
In Canada, what are the Asset Mgmt. Companies or Fund house available, to purchase Direct Index Funds (without distributor commision) ?
Can you suggest some Index Funds also for a Canadian ?
Regards.
You just have to open a self directed investment account from any financial institution, I have mine with TD bank. There is also wealth simple. You can then by index fund like TD e-series index fund( only for TD bank investment account holder), iShare index fund, Blackrock index fund, etc….. Hope this helps.
As aiming very low income today for investment

Christine speaks in horrible lingo, as if we all understand that terminology. I stopped listening to her. And she never gives examples of what she means for example, mentioning "income distribution." She might as well just talk to herself and handful of her colleagues.
