My next question would be, what does it take for Lego to consider making a new mould? For Animal Crossing, we already have apple, cherry and orange trees, and peach trees would be possible, but there have never been Lego pears (as a single piece). So would making a pear tree for AC be enough to convince them to make a new mould for that? Pears could be used in a ton of future sets outside of animal crossing as well. Anything from lego city to friends, and even medieval sets and such.
Thanks for answering my question! It makes sense now, in retrospect. I actually thought maybe it was done so the tree is easier to take apart, since jumpers have those ridges. But that wouldn't explain why it wasn't done in the other sets. But now I know. Funnily enough, that extra jumper plate was just what I needed for my "Bowser's Muscle Car" set, so I could replace that Scanner Code tile on Bowser's shell with a proper fifth spiked shell plate in the center. One thing they could do for the Animal Crossing Sets, if they wanted to add human villagers, is maybe use the 8 villager skins from Smash Bros. Those have become pretty iconic. It still wouldn't be a perfect solution for representing everyone personally, but it's not like Lego is gonna make every possible combination of facial features and skin tones anyway. Even if they made the hair a separate piece, it would still be too much. Personally, I always thought the humans were the least interesting part of the game anyway, so I'd rather just have more animal villagers instead.
I'd love to hear a bit more about the Billund environment, as someone who has just applied for designer positions. I've always been set on making that big step, but I've never actually been there. I love your vids btw!
@@Tubeside, no, no, I think they're cool! It really makes the intro stand out, although the volume did spook me the first time I watched one of your videos :P

Love these! Thanks for the reply! 😊

Thanks for the reply! The memes were well worth the sacrifice indeed

Is there any easy way to connect plates and baseplates when they are side by side?
There are ways, but they're not easy!
Hi! I was just wondering, do the designers work in the LEGO campus, or are there other locations also? Great video as always!
Nah thats for suits, they work in Innovation House down the road.
@@Tubeside Interesting! Thanks for the quick reply!
What are those electronic sound effects you use for your intro? Are they significant in some way, or do they just sound cool to you?
Its just a guitar riff forward and backwards, for an opener sound, not a fan? 😜

Yeah i think I'll make it fade in a bit more so it's less of a jumpscare haha
Great chanal and very interresting.
The "my first piano lesson" music is wildly irritating and if anything too loud. 😉
Noted 😜
