I’m not familiar with this brand, but as Dalya said it’s museum art....a great way to describe a fragrance. Of course I would love to try this House!! They all sound wonderful and the names of the perfumes are very cryptic, making want to experience them. These fragrances sound great.Darkside sounds like something to wear to help drift off to sleep… usually can’t wear heavy stuff to work so I keep the thick ones for the bed. Good review.
So, so want to try this and her other fragrances!!!! Under My Skin and Sex in the Sea sound phenomenal but The Dark Side is the true contender. The honey and amber, the vanilla and musk dry down, the gourmand features all are the perfect storm for me. I love Daliah, but what is she smelling? Wow, her skin must be doing some wild things to this fragrance. I get something similar in Under My Skin and The Dark Side, yet they are quite different. Angel Dust is the only one I haven’t tried. I’d love to try that one, but I’m not gonna be greedy and enter when I’ve tried all but that one. Great review! Love how you two don’t always agree on the fragrance!

I never heard of this house. How exciting. I'm not into gourmands either but found a few that are exceptions. Has Dalya tried ELDO True Lust? That's a dark violet with depth that I fell for and grabbed a full bottle of. You guys are so wonderfully weird. I have THREE friends with synaesthesia. One actually changed my name. He said Gina Tabasso doesn't go but Donatella Tabasso does with the colors; so, he calls me Donatella. All the notes sound wonderful. I love dark violet.
Blind bought a bottle of this. It's not ambery on me at all. But a LOT of styrax and iris and violet. Leans VERY masculine. I'm wondering if my new soap isn't altering how the fragrance smells since it definitely leaves a different feeling than my usual one. Hm. NOT Unisex at all imo. I get zero vanilla.

I've had a bad experience this one. The top of the scent turned funky on my skin, it reminded me of stewed green peppers with pepper :S The drydown was lovely resinous frankincense. Nothing groundbreaking but still good. Not really a dark fragrance in my opinion. I will skip the giveaway as I already have the set. This other house's offerings are really good and i recommend everyone to sample this house at least once :)

Hmmm.. Honey, spices, iris, sandalwood, incense and vanilla. Those are my favorite notes in fragrance. Just from the notes i already know that i’ll at least like this one. Also with the beastly longevity (i prefer fragrances with more longevity than projection). But tbh, i much more interested to Under My Skin. I’ve heard more great things about Under My Skin than The Dark Side.
