Even children of bank officers face the same problem.Dads keep on moving throughout the country...so either you miss your dad or a stable life....The biggest problem is in army you get the places to live inside cantonment areas but very few bank flats are there...So not only new place sometimes you have to change the house also in the city itself because the rent agreement is over and the landlord is unwilling to extend it....
Bro it's an awesome feeling to move from city to city in every 3 to 4 years. But now I have been living in PUNE same like Shreya for past 9 years and it's boring to stay one more day here as I have been traveling since childhood

So, I was conceived in Bangalore & born in jodhpur started with school in J&K till 3rd grade then moved to bhatinda till 8th grade then had quite a few short time postings (siliguri, gawalior, Pune) & then back to jodhpur where my dad retired as subedar major. My dad is from aurangabad Maharashtra & mom from Bangalore Karnataka so it's completely messed up for me when somebody asks me where I'm from usually I say Jodhpur bcoz I spent 10yrs of my childhood there 😂 we are now settled in belgaum which is kinda dispute region between Karnataka & Maharashtra

I was born in Jharkhand then my mom got transfered to Pathankot,Punjab for two years and then we were again shifted from Punjab to Jharkhand for four years and then we were transfered from Ranchi to Chennai for two and half years and now I'm in Roorkee a small town in Uttarakhand for two years and the next, we don't know. And I'm from Kerala and my mother is from Ranchi and dad is from Kerala.
My father is in Indian Army . I changed 7 schools and now I'm in 8th class in civilian schools and my friends are asking me all these questions. Proud 👏 to be Indian ❤ and a millitary kid.
