I have an admiration for single moms but how come we never hear about single dads. They have to face the same obstacles
They're just so much rarer than single moms. They 100% need recognition, but here's an quick statistic I found.

this story line is so true and down to earth. Most pop songs are about happiness or breaking up with your ex, but this song is about a teenage mother trying to bring up her baby and keep him safe whilst she tries to bring a bit of money in by pole dancing and entertaining men at a pub. The dad's not there and she's trying to bring up her child so he can have a nice life unlike hers. It's one of those songs that you have to really listen to the lyrics to actually know what the song's about. It's sad but it has a great tune. My favourite song at the moment.

As the eldest daughter of a currently single mom family with 4 kids, this song is more relevant than I can ever describe in words. My only regret with this song was that it was here long before my mother became a single mom, and I’m already grown up and strong. It’s still a beautiful classic though, so I’m not complaining..

There is a story behind people's actions don't look down on others because you really don't know whats happening in their life. That person working in Mc'Donanlds is on their way to finishing their law degree, or just escaped an abusive relationship and this is the only job they could manage to find to carry themselves. I never met my mum because she died while she was giving me birth. When my older sister learned about that she blamed me, she said it was my fault that our mum is dead.
