I got the dreaming spanish subscription a month ago and it was the best decision I've made. For anyone that is on the fence, definitely give it a try. This post sounds like I'm a salesman for dreaming spanish or something but I just really appreciate all the work that goes into the channel. It's been a huge help in my learning journey :)

I smiled when they talked about how the staff at the restaurant switched to Spanish right away when they wanted to practice speaking English. We gringos have the same problem!
Yo quisiera escuchar a un grupo de personas así más a menudo. Creo que este tipo de conversación no es lo mismo que una conversación entre dos personas solas. Hay más diferencias en las voces, los acentos, ritmos y el vocabulario. Escuchar este vídeo es una buena práctica. Gracias por hacerlo.

The only time a hamburger is called a sandwich is when you are ordering fast food. This is because usually the menu has sandwiched and hamburgers on it. So everything with meat and bread is referred as a sandwich but only when you review your order. It is strange and it dumb but that is the way we do it. No one will call a hamburger a sandwich in any other situation.

Wondering what makes this a B1 video (according to the thumbnail) as opposed to B2? They speak pretty fast, about complicated topics, and there's a decent number of tricky phrases (it's not 100% basic Spanish).
El español en este video es mucho mas rapido que en otros videos intermedios de Dreaming Spanish.Es mas como los advanced.
Inicialmente no reconocí a Alma y me estaba preguntando porque Pablo no nos presentó a la chica. Supongo fue porque su cabeza estaba inclinada a la derecha.🤷♂

¡Guau! Me interesó mucho escuchar sus "historias del camino" de sus viajes a EEUU. Me alegro de que hayan asistido a un partido de los White Sox...viví allá en las afueras de Chicago unos 11 años. Los tornados son tan comunes allá en la mitad del país...y son tormentas muy peligrosas. Hay que quedarse--idealmente en un sótano bajo tierra hasta que pase el tornado. Un primo mío estaba manejando cuando un tornado levantó su carro como 30 metros al aire...casi se murió. Y tienen razón de la lluvia. Hay gran diferencia entre Illinois y Arizona, donde vivo ahora....huele a "creosota" aquí y no es así en el norte del país...solo en el suroeste. Pero me parece muy feo la experience con el pobre animal de peluche...cosas del aduana o los policías. Hay tanto miedo en mi país del narcotráfico y es una lástima.
