I'm a little surprised, in fact, because Andrew knows his thoery. He knew a tough player like you could pull that trick.

I absolutely love flying allegiant in Austin. Having your own terminal is awesome and no wait for checking bags or security.
Yeah except when it's your first time and you go to the main terminal first before realizing you've made a mistake and then have to pay $24 for an Uber to the south terminal because the shuttle bus doesn't show up for 45 mins

@@MarianoPoker lol if it makes you feel any better I once discovered in the old Laguardia airport that 2 gates with numbers next to each other were actually in separate terminals. Something like b33 was the last gate in one terminal and b34 was the first gate in another terminal. That was a fun morning!

The last time I played there I left 6500 up on a 1/2 table when they still had that. I had people coming over and taking pictures of my stack. It was an insane run.

@@zone7rizzo you may be gambling a little more than you should be. Are you playing bigger stakes then you should be or risking too much bc your playing scared sort of speak? I think the only way to build the confidence you seek is to keep grinding and studying more. When you make a few nasty reads on ppl you’ll find your mojo. Don’t stop grinding tho
He’s 5x the player as neeme and brad and 5x more comfortable at these stakes than them, doubt he’s nervous
@@waterboy417 I agree with you about him being better absolutely, which is why I was thrown off by his play and came off as unusual.
I mean he has to be aggressive when he doesn't have it and play soft when he has it some percentage of the time for balance reasons. Mariano doesn't try to be a GTO bot, and rightfully so in weaker live games, but he is very well studied and knows how to keep his opponents guessing. He plays with his full range in mind and will protect his checks with some strong hands just like every strong player does
Mariano is rapidly becoming 1 of the toughest and most entertaining player in the highstakes landscape. Way to go bro.

I love how Mariano just breezes over the badass bluff on Andrew. Other bloggers would be talking it up for a couple minutes, telling us how good a play it was. Mariano just gives his thoughts and moves on as if it was just like any other play. He's a killer but is retaining his humility and gratitude, great to see!

It must've been pretty cool playing with Andrew Neeme but if you watch his vlogs you also have a distinct advantage knowing he is scared money and rarely plays at these stakes. The shove all in when he had pocket 5's was a great play. You're an absolute boss Mariano. You may not here this that often but thank you so much for sharing a small part of your life with us. It is very interesting seeing you get better and better.

I always find it interesting when vloggers play against vloggers. I watched Brad Owens video for this session and it's cool to listen to both players thought processes on the same hand.

I don't understand the first hand analysis at all. Brad button 3-bet 3x late open could be anything. Mariano 4 bets JJ thinking it's best. how does J85 two diamond flop give brad "often have a strong hand"? I understand the flop bet but it seems more like a prayer than a value bet? and then third diamond on turn, why couldn't brad have a suited hand? seem very possible to me. Mariano basically puts him on a pocket pair with a diamond, including queens (but he said Js were best preflop)? and then jams? I just don't understand the analysis. Can someone enlighten me pls?

Can someone explain the difference between Mariano and Brad Owens poker journey ? Mariano seems to have had an astronomical rise through the stakes, playing for millions of dollars and having insane wins in such a short amount of time. It feels like Brad has been grinding for YEARS and YEARS and only in the last few months has he stepped up in the stakes, playing in some big live stream games. Even with Brads recent level up in stakes, he hasn't done that* well in comparison to Mariano's winnings. Ive been a massive Brad fan for years, I’m just having a hard time understanding how their paths have been so different. Is it just me, or does Mariano seem like he doesn't care as much if he has massive swings? Brad seems to feel every up and down swing way more. Is Mariano already rich or something ?
Is there any way brads call in hand #1 is winning? I can’t see how it would be. Double block the best straight draw, holding a key Diamond that might be bluffed with, underpair?

You could say, "There is a high probability I'm still ahead with a hand like A/K or A/Q or A/J."
But, as far as who has MORE COMBO's of the stronger hands on that flop, the caller does, and it's not even close.
He will have most of the sets. He will have most of the straight-draws. He will have most of the pairs + backdoors. Etc.

Been tracking you and rooting for you for several years now. The body language on day 1 appeared bad. Never seen that from you before. Could that be connected to the outcome? Just pondering. Keep up the good work. Love your thought process during the hands.
On your first day of the video I remember from watching the stream live that the commentator said you played some very long hours at the Hustler the night before then flew straight to Austin without much of sleep. We could visibly see you were very tired at the table and kept rubbing your forehead at times. You probably felt young and restless but playing poker when you are exhausted is not a winning recipe.

I actually liked how you played the last hand of the 2nd night. No just calling and letting him get there with a Jack or a 10. When you have the best hand and you know it, ya gotta be aggressive and fold out that equity!
