Holy shit this looks great. I just recently put my thumb back in the ball from a 2 year 2 hand experiment lol and I got an infinite to start I love that ball this looks like it can be in my bag for when I see heavier volumes. Keep up the good work!

Great review, I have been wanting to see you throw this as my rev rate and ball speed are very close to yours. Now I am sure that This is the ball for me... Great review, the dna looks great. The review also showed how the exceptional the reality still is. The reality gives me jackal ghost vibes, as in its just always going to be hard to beat, because it is just so good.

Had a good feeling about this ball when it was announced. Which is why I said I was more excited for this than the ruby bec I felt storm was going to kinda shock us with some special. I will be ordering 1 for sure

Does your house have heavy oil on the outside or just medium? My house has even heavy oil and I have been looking for something that can get going through it as opposed to it being washed up. I might have found my ball. Great Review!!!

Do you have a video for what ball to pick up or for certain lane conditions, like heavy oil to medium and medium to dry? By the time I go ball lanes usually burnt to dry!

I like mine up so far and I keep mine at 2000
I still don't have an assym solid. Haven't needed it since I am rev dominant but my form is slowly getting better and as a result my speed is getting faster, so this review is very valuable to me because the 2 balls that I was looking at are in fact the Reality and the Proton Physix. The Super Nova and Gem both don't look like they would match up well with me.
Def need to add one into their bag!

I was choosing between the DNA, Gem or Ambush. I only bowl on sportpatterns between 39ft to 44ft and I felt that I needed something stronger than my Pro Motion in my arsenal. In the end, I picked the Ambush simply bcs Ive never had a ball from Motiv. But the DNA came really close 😁
My first out of the bag is the GEM and I am a low rev bowler but I still hook. (broken hand 3X = arthritis) and its great....however I have bowled at least 300 games on it and I either need to resurface or try new...looking at TNT and DNA, would love to hear your thoughts on the Ambush after using it for a while

How are you liking the Ambush, I'm torn between it and the DNA as well. I have a Ghost, so familiar with Motiv already but bowl mostly Storm (Nova and Proton)
@@papasfritas1 Well, I got exactly what i wanted: a STRONG ball :D . This thing is almost ridiculus. This is my first ball from motiv, but i have other teammates who has had them for years, so I kinda knew what to expect. It really needs alot of oil, or else its gonna burn up all the energy before it hits the pocket. But its easy to hit the pocket with it, It lets me "survive" the first 2 games without any major issues (other than the occasional cornerpin) and its easy to reed the ballmotion and make the right decisions when the lanes start to transition. Overall: I like it, and it complements my arsenal well. :)
I have the Ambush (1000-grit), Pro Motion (1000-grit), BW 2.0 Hybrid (2000-grit and Step 2 comp), Parallax (3000-grit and Step 2 comp) and an old BW 2.0 Urethane (500-grit) and a plastic for spares.
@@chriswinton I got the same deal: Not a whole lotta revs, but not fully speed dominant. So I can still hook it, but not like the tourguys ;). I think you would like this ball and feel that its a worthy opponent to the Gem. From what I experience (got a few guys with the Gem at the lanes), I find the Ambush´s ballmotion easier to reed and make decisions from, compared to the gem. The Gem feels a bit more angular on the end of the patterns, compared to the Ambush, and I prefer the bit rounder motion. Overall, pretty happy with it so far. :)
Luis how are you? It appears that I never watched this video before until today. I heard bad things about the DNA but in this video you actually helped open my mind a little bit that I like about it. The most is what you just said at the closing statement and me watching you on the lane I really like the shape down lane. The only problem I have with it is it’s a little clean, kinda like the absolute power. That’s not a bad thing but when you think of a big asymmetrical ball, that’s not what you’re looking for. That’s the way they loved about the proton physix, the supernova and even the gem. I do agree with you because I have tried a friends gem. When it does work, it works great but sometimes if there’s not enough oil it’s clearly rolls out at the end of the pattern. still based I’m a little bit of my personal bias plus I love how the other balls react to the lane because I love how early and smooth they are meaning the proton physix and the supernova.
Also, was this the ball that replaced them? Who is replacing the DNA now because this is now gone?
I'm a 170 League average. Bought this yesterday, threw it in League last night, and threw a 650. The amount of miss room and the carry is ridiculous. My amount of 'lucky" messengers was way more than usual. I loved the Zen I had already, but I'm speed-dominant and I need something that's going to move on fresh even when I don't put a lot of hand on it. Great.

How many times did you have to film the ball rolling on the return to get it to land on the DNA logo?
One and done son!
Pretty easy actually. you do it in reverse. Place ball with logo where you want it at end of return and then slowly roll it back up to top of return, let it roll, and start filming.

Luis, Looks like an interesting new ball, but I think I will be staying with my Proton Physix for now. I don’t see it replacing that at this point. I have to say that it does look like you are bowling in you pajama’s with the duck outfit, but it does go with some of today’s fashions. Ken

DNA is better in every facet for me
Hopefully it sits between the gem and reality. Bought the gem last year and just never really liked what I seen. Could be that I went with a 5” pin instead of my typical 4” but it just wants to stand up and roll out if I pitch it towards the gutter instead of straight up the lane. Almost felt like a urethane.

honestly, i've seen in the tour vids recently a lot of people using the DNA as a step down when the Gem is just too much ball. Also, the core numbers on this thing are weird. real high intermediate diff compared to most of the other big assyms.

i have the proton already and i really like it but their are times where the proton doesnt have enough to get back but thats cause the cover is so strong but the DNA just looks more smooth and you have more margin for error if you miss right. im not sure if it would be the same or an upgrade from the proton.

I had a prediction that it was gonna be a re-release of the Trend 2, but now I'm not sure about that. Either way, I would like to see a comparison between the two. Obviously do one with the Proton, and maybe even a 1-2 punch video with a good step down from the DNA

At 8:45 you are gonna have trouble playing that far left on a house shot. Lay down was right in the left side friction so it burnt up too much. If you lofted over the 34-39 board range it might have even been able to come back from there. Pretty impressive for a ball that strong.

Oh, my bad; I was referring to the Gem as the ball I didn't expect to like not the DNA, the reason is that I am slow bowler (rev dominant) who likes to shape it downlane, and just don't see how to use a Gem
