born in 86, older brother born in 81. anything my bro liked i liked until i grew up and became my own man. One of the few things I still hold in high regard from my brother's influence is Lagwagon. In my opinion Joey is one of the greatest song writers of all time.

I love Joey Cape. Met him a few times before and after shows both back in Hoss days and in later years with Tony Sly. Amazing songwriter and why Lagwagon remains one of the best SoCal bands.
You mean one of the best bands period (.) I'm from socal and ya, socal is a special place most of America still can't understand, it's cool though. But ya, Joey Cape I feel is a very underappreciated song writer. Like he's up there with Bob Dylan as far as song writing IMO. Oh, and here's some boobs ( . ) ( . )
Man I wish they’d billed this as Joey solo instead of Lagwagon with the full band thumbnail and everything. I’ve been waiting since the moment they posted it for this Lagwagon performance - most likely the new album that just dropped. This is great don’t get me wrong - and I know he has a new solo record too, but still.. a tad disappointed.
Im wondering if he and lag wagon purposely remained off the mainstream music scene ? Such a great band. My entire life is made up of similar stories to their songs.

Joey Cape
Jason Perkins agreed
This is real good.
Joeys lyrics are so well structured/ thought out. I Still get tongue tied trying to sing along after all these years!
Because you never heard a BAB RELIGION song! If there is well structured lyrics, Bad Religion are one of them.

@@DonkeyBoyVids It's just that it can't even be compared to Bad Religion.
Joey cap sings for children Greg Graffin sings for adults.
@@LuisSantos-fl1rl haha okay dude whatever
an incredible talent for writing songs. I've been Lagwagon fan since I was a teenager and it's like Joey Cape's always been a part of my life.
