That's so exciting!! Once I had my consultation (June?) I had my surgery in October. My insurance was super fast with approving it. If you're looking for your insurance to cover a portion of it, definitely stress quality of life and back pain!

I wore a 36 G, had very dense breast tissue and always hated how big my boobs were. They were such a problem for buying clothes, playing sports and having unwanted attention. I was scared to have a reduction but then had breast cancer. I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. I now wear a 38DD. I wish I had done this 30 years ago. I wanted to go smaller but because I’m tall and have a long torso my surgeon recommended against it. He was right. I can buy bras and swimsuits with ease. I can wear shirts that button without gapping. Cancer - not good, but smaller boobs - great!

I’m 13 days in and it’s so wonderful. I hope they get smaller as the swelling goes down.
