Thanks my guy! Honestly, they are solid, I like 'em, I just wish for that one thing that I have expressed but if it's no big deal to you, you'll be in for a treat!
@ I believe I know what you’re referring to, and I pretty much always disable vibration lol. But it’s unfortunate for some people, for sure. I loved the X20, so I’m pretty excited to try anything new from EasySMX. Was super impressed by that controller, for the price.
Thanks! I see that you a reviewer too. I'll go watch your Omelet Super Deck review, it looked nice but sadly I declined the unit as I have too much work lined up, it sure looks good!
I've never had a controller with mechanical buttons, this is my first one, so I've been wondering: do the buttons on the smx S15 seem durable? And if so, are mechanical buttons easier to break? Like, easier to break than membrane ones?
Both types of buttons have come a long way over time, none are impervious to breaking but the likeliness is quite low. That said, they wouldn't deter the same way, membrane tend to become less responsive when it weakens whereas mechanical could have its spring action no longer work making it complicated to keep actuating as the key isn't propping up as it usually would. In both cases, chances are you'd change them before experience a breakage except if a sudden strong shock was to occur. But regular use over easily 5 to 10 years probably wouldn't be enough to break any of the two tech. I hope this helps!
@GameTechTalk Thanks for the answer, it certainly helped a lot, the good thing is that I'm Brazilian, and here we have very high import taxes, so We don't have much space to "try" products because even if you get a refund, it's a tiring process and can take so long that in the end it's not even worth it. But this type of video is good to give us an idea of what the controls are like before purchasing.
The rumble is pretty much on-par between one another, I'd say the X10 is better than the Nova Lite but get me no wrong, the Nova Lite still is a great controller, they are just not on the same price range (regularly at least).
Yes except the triggers, it doesn't have rumble in the triggers like the Series controller does. Otherwise, the grip's rumble is on-par with Xbox one. Most of the rest is better. But if you want a hall-effect controller that is better than the Series controller but retain all of series's features, look up the GameSir G7SE/HE, they are wired only but beyond that, everything is better and it retains 3.5mm jack also.
i just have feelings for the X20 i am not going to betray that lol , i just wanted to see if the Stealth™ Pivot Wireless Smart Controller from Turtle Beach is your radar and if you have plans for it , because it looks soooo cool and i would love to see you review it
Technically, I would think I will but that decision lies on Turtle Beach. If according to plan, I will be reviewing it during the 1st wave yes. I'm excited to see what it's all about as well!
@@GameTechTalk okay nice to hear , it is a very interesting product and personally i am going to watch every review on that thing lol , it looks gimmicky but it is comming from a very reputable company and could be a very good product. they don't mention mechanical facebuttons but for fighting games that is not so bad and you have double of most things.
I'd argue every game that have rumble at all. While HD rumble can have a more complex data track to better utilize the rumble itself, I find that even when it comes to regular rumble, the haptic motors do a better job at providing layers in the rumbling experience. Much like Sony's Dualsense controllers. That may be a preference thing mind you but to me, the better implementations are awesome but even for the regular ones, it's so much better than the rotary motors.
@ thanks for clarifying! im asking because i've actually never tried third party switch controllers so i dont even know how it feels to not have rumble lol was wondering if i would miss it if i got smth with just regular rumble or wouldn't even notice it... but u convinced me i should stick to hd rumble, i do appreciate the dualsense rumble and i hope nintendo implements something similar or better on the successor of the switch!
@@ceciliapereira3058 Technically they could. They utilize the same tech but the motors on the Dualsense are bigger so Sony can send more juice, creating a stronger effect and with it, better nuances. Mind you, Sony also utilizes a speaker that helps sell the illusion so that is also a defining factor of the Dualsense but the rumble itself is pretty much on-par if just slightly stronger. Happy to assist whenever, cheers!

I was thinking of buying this controller, but I chose MANBA ONE. To be honest, I really like it, especially his big screen haha
The Manba One is a pretty sweet controller and deal. That perfect balance between premium and cost-efficient!

Can you turn these LEDs off completely?
Yes you can, you hold T and long press - or + depending on the joycon.
