Wow thanks a lot for uploading these! I’ve been looking a long time for live performances of them (which are rare). God bless man :)

was there a Bellingham scene in the 80s?

Not really, there's a college where some shows happened and a couple record stores, first time i saw the Screaming Trees was with Beat Happening at a rental hall there in 1987. As far as local bands go The Posies started up around 86' and Dave Crider of The Monomen started Estrus records in 1990, i guess the biggest band from there would be Death Cab For Cutie.

    Who is that on bass?

Hi Matt! That's Tony Ransom on bass, he was their last bass player, Jim Tillman left in early 87', Tom Hazelmyer played bass for the Big Black & Scratch Acid gigs then Tony Ransom joined, this could the last U-Men show or close to it.

@@larryschemel6873 I thought so - the longish hair threw me off (maybe it's a hat?). Never saw them with Tony but was at the Big Black show with Haze.
Incredible footage! Thanks for posting this and for uploading all of these vids. Great stuff. It's also been really cool to see you out there with Death Valley Girls. Well done!
