We would have no reason to throw rocks at our cousin’s house. The fighting Irish (Catholic) is a part of the American Spirit. Hey bro, as a former Army sergeant, I gotta correct something he said. We take the Army physical fitness test twice a year. Also, as it pertains to the stealth bomber, he didn't mention the fact that is sends supersonic waves to the ground so that you can't hear it as it flies over you. I saw one when I stationed at Fort Bliss, Tx. Not only is it badazz looking, you couldn't hear it! Good video mate! Cheers!
There was a part of the military they left out... the United States Marine Corps. As a retired Marine myself, I'd ask that you look up a few of the TH-cam videos on them. We're very proud of our heritage, and our role in keeping America safe.
As a former Navy Intel Specialist and former Army 96B Intel Analyst, I used to call the Marines a tiny division of the Department of the Navy. Then I went to Afghanistan as a civilian in direct support of CJSOTF missions. I have seen with my own eyes the Hell that is unleashed when the Marines come to see you. SEMPER FIDELIS!!
@angrybob8126 only part of the Navy he can deploy without congress... and well that has changed as he can send the Army, the Air Force, and the rest of the Navy for 30 days. So the old Jefferson era law has been superceded by more recent laws.
You see I'm Air Force but there is no excuse to leave the Marines out of the scenario I may be a Fly Boy but the Jar Head Marines are just as important as the Army & Navy.
9:56 You should look up the 2013 incident when an F-22A Raptor bypassed the radar of two Iranian F-4 Phantom II aircraft trying to engage an MQ-1 Predator drone. The U.S. aircraft magically appeared underneath them to check their armament. The U.S. pilot popped up beside them, spooking them by saying, "You ought to go home." The Iranians did so.

We didn't invent war, but we sure as hell perfected it. War is part of our culture, and throughout my existence of 37 years in this world We've always been in a conflict. The only way to gain peace is to be dominant. We may not be perfect, but we as a country agree that being prepared is better than not being prepared at all. This country is founded on one principle and that is the right to exist by any means.
I watched a video of American soldiers with a group of allies in combat… When you see the men moving through the combat zone, I could easily pick out the US military from our allies military just by the way they removed.. Our allies soldiers had a bounce to them as they moved along… US military men had no bounce to their movement. They were gun ready and their heads on the swivel…. Their movements were in pace with the other American soldiers.. It was really fascinating to see that…🇺🇸🇺🇸🫡😎
I’ve noticed that too! It’s like it’s second nature to them. These videos should focus more on the people in the military because the weapons (and machinery) are useless without someone to operate them. Even drones and smart missiles have to be launched by someone somewhere. Our military is trained and treated very well and the US population is also more patriotic and passionate about our country and its military than any other country. You don’t see homes flying their country’s flag in other countries. The US is the only country whose people do that. It makes me so proud!
One thing that we need to keep in mind is that the majority of our strength is away from home. We now (thanks to Biden and Mayorkas) my have to fight trained Chinese who have been coming through our southern border.
Correction to the video. There are 1.3 million ACTIVE personnel in ALL branches of the US Military. However, there are millions more in reserve and more in things like the national guard, air national guard, etc. Another correction/clarification...the USA has over 15,000 planes when you combine ALL of the branches of the military. The US AIR FORCE has over 5,000 of those, the Navy has the SECOND largest air force IN THE WORLD. The US Army is like 4th or 5th, and the US Marines I believe would be in the top 10 or at least 20.
the Marines have around 3500 planes i think so it would be around 6th. so USAF would be 1st followed by the navy, Russia/China, then the Army then Marines i believe.
Yes, and then there are millions more in "well regulated militias"... like The proud boys, the michigan militia and other private multitudes, armed to their teeth and with a rambo mindset. The question is rather: why would someonle want to invade that, even if you could? 😉There is no prize to win...
13:58 let’s also not forget that 4 of the new 95 ships are going to be Super carriers. What’s that you ask? Oh ya know. A ship that uses 4 NUCLEAR REACTORS in order to move, because it’s supposed to house 100,000 people along with all the equipment

The U.S. Navy has eleven FIXED WING aircraft carriers, but twenty carriers in total. Not 11, but 20. The other nine carry helicopters and vertical takeoff planes, like the old Harriers. The new F35 was designed for these carriers.
F35B i believe is the VTOL version, if they hadnt used the Bs airframe for the A and C models it would be a much more capable fighter ( not that it isnt capable lol ) i get the money saving aspect and i mean i guess they have to give the oppostion some sense of a chance lmao but yeah the F35 is a badass plane.

Kind of surprised this video didn't mention about the Marine Corps. They literally are famous and been around for ages. As an Army Brat, and amateur military historian, the purpose of marching that way, including the goose step is done for several reasons, almost all of them psychological. 1) Helps build unit discipline and cohesion. A unit that can march together with discipline and cohesion, can fight with discipline and Cohesion. 2) psychological warfare. The sounds of a massive amount of troops approaching can be intimidating to your enemy, and build confidence at home. Armys used war drums, horns, or pipes to get the same effect in the past. From a distance it can make a small force appear larger, and a large force sound like death and hell approaching. Exaggerated marches just amplifies the sound, and increases the emotional effect. 3) Tradition, especially with countries who have strong military traditions, or who just want people to believe they do.
According to Wikipedia The United States has military bases in 45 countries and territories, i.e. outside its fifty states and the District of Columbia.
So, as a former U.S. Army veteran, let me tip my hat to all my brothers, sister, cousins. Our family is strong and the bond lifelong. That being said, let me just clue you in. If we need some ultimate chaos created yesterday, somehow the Marines will be there on time, on point and never miss.
America also has the largest population of armed partisans. 70 to 80 million gun owners, many were in the military too. Our states each have an army and air force. Our Coast Gaurd is larger than most other nations whole navies. Our Marine Corps has its own ships, including short deck carriers. More than most other nations whole navies. Our highway system is thousands of impromptu air strips. We are the largest military force in the whole history of humanity's time on Earth.
I am a Blue Star Mom.What that means is that my son or daughter (son in my case) is in the United States Armed Forces. He is a Staff Sgt in the Oklahoma National Guard but was in the regular Army for 6 of the 18 years he's served. He has gone on 3 tours and was overseas for 4 of the 6 years he served in regular serve. His MOS was 19K (Stryker driver) but now he's in the Elite 45th Infantry and is a F13 scout and leader. This video really doesn't explain the VAST VAST strength of our men and women...because it only talks about those in uniform. Most Americans in the South own at least one firearm, and many of us own more and have been trained to use them. Besides the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Guard protecting our land, we have the citizens who do the same. You just don't want to corner any of us. We take the Constitution pretty seriously.
Some of us do! Some of the idiots living here could take their asses on over to NK. 😂 Our nation is FAR from perfect, but I'm not moving and I'm hoping we get back on our feet.
Even the weather of the US protects us and hardens us Them Tornadoes, Blizzards, and Hurricanes don't give a flying f*ck who they kill, and I can promise you that no other country is more prepared for such disasters than America.
I like to add something, he never mentioned the Marines, F 35 and Coast Guard. I'm a veteran of the Navy 1969-1979 and it's a totally different Navy to when I served. The first ship I was on still had canvas racks with rope woven around the frame. Don't have a heavy person in the rack above you.
The scarry part about the US military is that all of the equipment actually works. When they go to war it's with the same tanks/planes/ships etc. that they train with and maintain all year long. Actual combat training, not pretty marching or even regime protection/glorified police/intimidation taring, but tactics, logistics, maintenance/repair, hands on armed combat, the US trains for actual war. Like a monstrously oversized professional race car team constantly training/working together not to impress but to win with drivers (piolets etc.) that have thousands of hours behind the wheel/stick/wrench/artillery. It's not one on one the US military trains as a team, and with remarkably little to no corruption they know they can count on the gas, ammo, and parts being 100% available where and when they're needed.
I was in the Navy and was in 7th fleet from 02-06. It was fuckin insane watching the Tomahawk's launch day after day, night after night. Some nights you could go out for a smoke and it would be bright as fuck because of all the launches happening. I was on a frigate and we spent the rest of our time hunting Chinese subs, and Somali pirates when we weren't doing operations in the Gulf. I was 18 and enlisted a week before 9/11 happened. Shit changed my life.
The B2 (flying wing) flew low down a canyon I lived in years ago, maybe 400 feet. We were driving out of the canyon and noticed it in my side mirror. It is so unique there's no question what it was. It was flying to do a pass over our New Year's Day Rose Parade. We pulled over, got out and as it approached at quite low speed, we waved furiously and the pilot wagged the wings in response From the front, there was zero noise, and when it passed, it was far quieter than a small Cessna. Another point. My brother (literally a retired rocket scientist), was in the Army reserves. Every service has a reserve force. Millions of well trained military personnel who do a few weeks every year of reserve training. He retired as a Lt. Colonel. In case of a war, these reserves get called up and usually take on non combatant duties, freeing the younger military to serve in combat situations. This adds millions of trained military personnel in case of war. You are still required to register for the draft (conscription), but that has been dormant since after the Vietnam war. We now have a space force, which deals with the vital role of satellite communications and monitoring to combat. We don't have to guess what's happening in distant countries, we can just look down with high resolution digital cameras. It is very expensive and surely there are opportunities for corruption (Congressmen and women get rich on insider information on military contracting companies). But over all, no one gets to compromise the constant technical improvements in our weapons arsenal. And there is no way any country can mount an invasion across the Atlantic, and the vast distance between China and USA: the Pacific Ocean. We also have lots of bases all over the world, from which we can quickly retaliate if some goof ball dictator attacks with missiles. I read yesterday that if China sent nukes, most of their missiles would be shot down, but that in China, the retaliation would reduce their population by 400 million people. And every bit of infrastructure needed to wage war would be obliterated by missiles and practically invisible cruise missiles. Donald Trump is another great deterrent. When re-elected, despots everywhere will stand down because he will do everything possible to stop all military adventures. Mr. Biden pissed this advantage away. One other factor: The USA has more oil reserves that all the rest of the world combined. It's estimated that we have enough to last at least 300 years. We can fuel our industry without regard to foreign production. Alaska is awash in oil we can tap if needed. And can you imagine the war production by the likes of Elon Musk? So, when are you coming to visit and to see for yourself what a great country we've created here. No put down of UK and other developed countries intended. We have this great place because of the wisdom of our founding fathers, most of them have deep family roots in Europe.
I'm a 30 minute drive away. Just the other day I heard one flying over my house while watching T.V. It wasn't real loud but I could recognize it's sound.
Yes. You could literally row a boat from Russia to America or sail a boat from Russia to America or visa versa. You can see America, specifically Alaska, from the most Eastern point of Russia, or you can see Russia from the most western point of Alaska. There have been times that Russian aircraft got lost and wound up in American airspace, and the US Air Force had to direct the Russian pilots back to Russia. Russian aircraft often lack GPS, something that American aircraft usually have. I mean nowadays that's not really all that surprising, also American pilots are often better trained than Russian pilots.

The one thing he did not talk about is that we have energy based weapons, high-powered lasers on navy ships, and gonna be put on aircraft. Right now we have 5th Generation aircraft. But they say the seventh generation in about 20 years will have no guns or missiles. Just high-powered lasers and other types of energy based weapons.
We also have sound based weapons, though they generally aren't super practical. Sound waves can be projected with enough force to unalive anyone caught in it. Explosives can do the same thing, though, and are a lot more versatile, so those are what actually get used. Also, pretty sure we already have weapons in space, if I remember correctly. Forget the term, but from what I recall, there are these things in orbit that can launch giant metal rods back down to Earth, doing a considerable amount of damage. Don't know if they've ever actually been used, though.
An old neighbor of mine is a navy seal. "Once a seal, always a seal" . He is the one who pushed me down the slippery slope of Feline Cohabitation. Any mess with his Felines the powers that be would never find the body.
The weird stepping thing is a variant of a military step and its primary purpose is to ensure that everyone in a unit is moving the same way to help the unit keep time during marching. In modern times its mostly a parade thing and that's one of the more exaggerated ones I've seen. It looks like a very aggressive high step which is an easier variation of the german goose step. Originally it was genuinely important since everyone stepping exactly the same way during linear (napoleonic and surrounding) warfare was how you kept a unit together and moving efficiently, and a march step was recorded as far back as Rome to allow commanders to accurately predict how fast they could move troops (a common step gave you twenty miles in five hours and a full step gave you twenty five miles in five hours; any fast was considered running and couldn't be predicted beyond 'faster but they also get tired). The US military does have a few marching steps, but they're fairly subdued and most troops only experience the handful of relatively sillier ones during training as a discipline thing.
11:19 The distance from New York City, New York to Moscow, Russia is about 4,600 miles, so yes, we could leave from stateside in a B-2 and scout Russia, but it's more likely that a B-2 would leave from one of the many foreign bases that the U.S. military has. We have 40 bases in Germany, alone. It's more than possible, and actually likely, that some B-2's are strategically placed at these foreign bases.
So Adam … the b2 are almost entirely based in the state of Alabama. They do not get based anywhere outside America. They fly anywhere on earth from America to there and back. Every mission.
I was wondering if anyone was going to mention this detail. They started off the video about messing with and invading the US, granted the US population was much smaller in WWII but the Japanese decided against invading because of private gun ownership. Today our "private" guns could arm every able bodied man/woman at least two times over.
Please remember we have to remove every small arm taken to Mexico or further south from that estimate. Some 80% of small arms used by the cartels in 2000 are suspected to come from privately owned US weapons. How that percentage still measures up now, 24 years later, is debatable, but it certainly still has an impact on American stock piles.
If the US wants to fly into Russian territory it will mainly use Ramstein Air Base in Germany. Ramstein is one of the largest European air bases operated by the United States and supports operations throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Northern Africa. Although technically....the US operates major air bases in Portugal, Turkey, Italy, and there is a joint base with the RAF at the RAF Mildenhall. The US actually has over 128 different bases in 55 counties. Then if you include countries that the US has joint operations forces with that number exceeds 250 locations that the US could launch operations from (not including Aircraft carriers and satellites).
My 5'1" 110lb wife was a staff sergeant in the US Air Force. Behind the lines logistic work, not front line combat service. And, even she had to test with a 2.5 mile run in 23 minutes every 60 days. US soldiers at all levels are held to a very high fitness standard.
Here's a fun budget number for you -- The USS Gerald Ford. The carrier. $13B cost. It would rank #24 in the world for whole military spending. Just one aircraft carrier is more expensive than 170 countries spend.

There is a 4-star general from my hometown, Bismarck MO, named General Glen VanHerck. I was once told that the HELMET he wore when flying cost close to $100,000. I was initially skeptical, but I've grown to believe it. The dude has a list of military awards a mile long and has flown damn near everything with wings.
The B-21 Raider is replacing the B-2. The B-21 is slightly smaller, but it's capable of fully autonomous flight. A.k.a its an unmanned bomber. Look up Fat Electrician's video about Rapid Dragon. It enables any cargo plane to drop cruise missiles via pallets (depending on the size of the plane). There's even test footage of it in action with the pallets dropping a test cruise missile. Edit: I forgot to mention the A.I piloted F-16 that's currently in testing. It has completed dog fighting training against human pilots. The pilot has been the limiting factor for the current and future aircraft. A.I will remove those limitations, which is exciting.
11:15 The B-2's only really touch ground in the state of Missouri for the most part for security and strategic positioning purposes (very central state in the continental US). They fly from Missouri to wherever on the Earth the problem is and then back to Missouri, getting refueled as-needed along the way. The crew even has basic amenities like a toilet, microwave, etc. for comfort during those long sorties. All that stealth and still a 40000 lbs payload capacity - granted that's ~30000 lbs less than what B-1 and B-52 offer but it's a ghost in the battle space.
The marching thing is so funny. In basic training that was the first thing they broke us of. When trying to march you grew up thinking about a marching band. US forces don't march that way. You march in step like you walk and swing your arms like you walk. At first when they say forward you start high stepping and you get ripped apart. You can't cover much ground high stepping.
Interestingly, most marching bands don't high step, either. It's a Hollywood manufactured stereotype. It's awfully hard to play your instruments well when high stepping. Too much jarring motion. There are a few exceptions, but generally speaking marching band teaches people to "march" very smoothly. In high school I could march with a cup of water on my head without spilling. I imagine it's still very different from how the military marches (they march with the intent to cover ground, after all), but I just wanted to make the clarification :) Have a nice day!
@@bandgeekforlife406 No you're right! The movies even show marching wrong when a troop has heads bouncing up and down that's a huge no-no! Or at least it was in the Air Force. We were taught to march from the hip and don't bounce at all. If it doesn't look like you're floating on calm water you're doing it wrong.
11:47 Within the first month of the Afghanistan war, I happen to have a pickup at a base in South Carolina. While my wife and I were there, we saw two B2 bombers landing. We learned that the first part of the air campaign was being conducted from there. The crews were flying 7k miles one way, and returning.
The A-10 IS NOT a "fighter," it is an "ATTACK" aricraft, thus . . . the "A." The F-22 and F-16 are "fighters," thus . . . the "F." A "Fighter," fights other aircraft. "Attack" aircraft, fight ground units . . . like tanks. Please get it right.

The amphibious assault ships are now essentially aircraft carriers since the marine Corps has been using F35B's from them that can take off & land vertically...
I’m sorry, but did they say fourteen nuclear warheads on our ballistic missile submarines? Try again. Our ballistic missile submarines (“boomers” US Navy parlance) carry 24 Trident II D5 SLBMs a piece, and each SLBM can carry at nominal loadings either 8 x W88 (475-kt) MIRVs or 10 x W76 (100-kt) MIRVs. The number they carry is limited by arms control treaties, but each _submarine_ has the capacity to carry up to 240 W76 warheads with 51.7 equivalent megatons, or 192 W88 warheads with 146.1 equivalent megatons. Not only that, the D5 SLBM has a CEP of about 50 meters. Meaning that each MIRV statistically will land within this radius 50% of the time, or twice that radius 97% of the time. The warheads can be fused for either airburst or ground burst as necessary.

high knees just keep you mobile/flexible and work out the front and side thigh, when you need to post up on a wall slightly lower than standing hight youll have to crouch slightly, like a wall sit, which strains the front and sides of the thighs. helps with that aswell as improving your legs ability to "hold" more weight than your body weight comfortably, you might have an 80kg backpack and 2 guns, aswell as ammo, survival supplies, contact equiptment, etc which can more than double your weight on your thighs/knees, so working those out in that way reduces the strain on your back by offloading a lot of the weight to the legs/thighs, that plus being able to scale atleast 5ft walls is crucial, dont want to have to walk out onto the street to go around a wall cause you cant get over the wall of the hole you made/ fence you cant loudly break down if in night ops
And there is one missing reason people don't show up here to take over.....the very reason Emperor Hiro Hito said after WWII. When asked why he did not advance on the US after bombing Pearl Harbor. You know the movie '300' about the Spartans? There's a line in it where the Greek commander says to Leonidas "you've only brought 300? We number in the thousands." Leonidas asks a few of the Greek soldiers what their profession is, one says a potter, one was something like a cook. Leonidas yells to his troops "SPARTANS, WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION?!" His troops respond with 3 manly "AH-ROO! AH-ROO! AH-ROO!" Leonidas smiles and says to the Greek commander "I've brought more soldiers." That's not quite, but sort of like the US Military. The Spartans trained as soldiers from childhood while our troops train for a few months, but those months and the rest of your service are usually better than any other nations. The Greeks may have also been Arcadian now that I think back...
0:32 On the early morning of December 7th, 1941, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. 4 japanese carriers, 1 cruiser, 3057 men, hundreds of aircraft lost, 2 catastrophic bombs later, the Japanese decided not to mess with America ever again. And don't forget the battle of Iwo Jima.
Knee up is a way to create a better running posture in American football, basketball and other sports involving running. I imagine this is why the armies apply it to their marching.
I actually used to teach Precision Guided Munitions for artillery. I did it for 13 years after serving 20 in the Army. The Artillery has some very precise munitions no one would want to get hit by. Even more precise ones on the way.
The reason they do that with their legs is so their legs are ok for the amount of running/walking/recoil of a gun that they will experience so their legs can actually take it and it is leg exercises we do it in soccer aswell
The distance from the USA to Russia is approximately 2.5 miles. There are 2 islands close to each other near the Bearing Straight off the coast of Alaska. USA owns 1 island while Russia owns the other. During the winter months the straight freezes, so technically one could literally walk from Alaska to Russia. From the Alaskan mainland to Russian mainland it is approximately 55 miles. So, yeah... Russia is literally in our backyard. 😮
As an active duty USN aviation firefighter only time I could see lifting your legs/ marching in combat would be useful is at night. In low visibility situations lifting your legs when walking lessens the odds of tripping on something.

@Facts5Facts808
When I was enlisted, I budgeted accordingly. Everything is relative.
Very little is allocated to science
750 military bases in 80 countries (although the actual number is unknown for security reasons).

As a military bratt, living near a base in the flight path, hearing freedom fly overhead is wonderful.
Freedom? We're being invaded overhead, by land and sea.
Your a psycho. I currently live next to a NAVY BASE and the jets drive me insane at times. Some days are clear, but others I can’t hear anything.
Im near dyess. I enjoy the b1b and soon getting the latest. You dont hear them until they pass you then you hear and feel them
The B2 (flying wing) flew low down a canyon I lived in years ago, maybe 400 feet.

3.)Military spending is actually closer to a Trillion if you add Black Budgets to the public numbers.
4.)There are probably more Irish (Irish decent) living in the US than in Ireland. Ireland will eternally be a part of us. They were some of our first settlers and I don’t see a world where we’d ever do a thing to harm them.
5.)This is the first time in like 2 years I see your face on my feed so I guess it maybe helped the algorithm in my regard.
My brother’s stationed out of Coronado in CA. He’s been in for several years now, but I always double take when I see him because he literally seems to fluctuate between a little “pudgy” and then all the sudden freaking RIPPED. He looks so different pre and just post a deployment versus when he’s been home for awhile!
Edit to add…That was in no way meant to be an insult to Navy seals or my brother! Even “pudgy” him is scary as hell to most anyone except me, because I’m his sister and I can provoke him without worry of any repercussions 😂
@@EveIsJustMyBlogName No I definitely knew you weren’t saying anything against our soldiers. It’s all muscle memory, it’s a very real thing and the more you’ve conditioned your body through your life the quicker you can hop right back in to shape. With lots of preconditioning turn around time from pudge to ripped can be 2 to 3 months max. They deserve to get a little happy pudge off deployment.

He did mention it's acoustic properties. But I know some people wouldn't connect it
@johntarnowski9086 I was thinking of sound when he said that but I'm a little slow to understand things lol
Us Brits have laser weapons as well !!!! 🇬🇧
We have them mounted on satellites. People don't understand this. Space force is real. It's like burning ants with a magnifying glass. It's scary.
An old neighbor of mine is a navy seal. "Once a seal, always a seal" . He is the one who pushed me down the slippery slope of Feline Cohabitation. Any mess with his Felines the powers that be would never find the body.

Proud U.S. Air Force wife here. Our airmen are beasts!
DAMN RIGHT!! GO Air Force!! The United States Air Force is THE largest and most powerful air force in the world, bar none!!

What was not mentioned is there are 320 million privately owned firearms in the United States or 120 guns for every 100 Americans.
@@jamestaylor3805 A bigger threat to our "stockpiles" is the increase in guns being lost in boating mishaps.

Exactly!! 💪💪👍👍👍
Here's a fun budget number for you -- The USS Gerald Ford. The carrier. $13B cost. It would rank #24 in the world for whole military spending. Just one aircraft carrier is more expensive than 170 countries spend.
Because U.S. does, they don't have to.

Edit:
I forgot to mention the A.I piloted F-16 that's currently in testing. It has completed dog fighting training against human pilots. The pilot has been the limiting factor for the current and future aircraft. A.I will remove those limitations, which is exciting.
oh and the b-21 also is like half the price and coming way underbudget, too
11:15 The B-2's only really touch ground in the state of Missouri for the most part for security and strategic positioning purposes (very central state in the continental US).
Don't forget the the 335 million Americans with 330+ million guns....And millions of the Americans are combat veterans
Seems they forgot about the entire Marine Corps

The most powerful tool in the US Military is logistics. They absolutely crush everyone with logistics. Scheduling and logistics is a force multiplier.
They didn’t say 14 warheads in the subs. They said there are currently 14 SUBMARINES active, 5 in the Atlantic Ocean and 9 in the Pacific Ocean

high knees just keep you mobile/flexible and work out the front and side thigh, when you need to post up on a wall slightly lower than standing hight youll have to crouch slightly, like a wall sit, which strains the front and sides of the thighs. helps with that aswell as improving your legs ability to "hold" more weight than your body weight comfortably, you might have an 80kg backpack and 2 guns, aswell as ammo, survival supplies, contact equiptment, etc which can more than double your weight on your thighs/knees, so working those out in that way reduces the strain on your back by offloading a lot of the weight to the legs/thighs, that plus being able to scale atleast 5ft walls is crucial, dont want to have to walk out onto the street to go around a wall cause you cant get over the wall of the hole you made/ fence you cant loudly break down if in night ops
