You can really tell Mouse is trained in opera, because her Japanese pronunciation is pretty on point despite her not speaking Japanese. (In opera you often have to sing in languages you don't speak, so you learn to do it phonetically even if there are sounds you don't have in your native language)
Thankfully, Spanish (mousey's native language) has the exact same vowel sounds as Spanish. And Japanese consonant sounds also all occur in English or Spanish. So I think that only leaves putting stress on the right syllables.
