I swear the best thing about camping is when it’s late at night and everyone’s around the camp fire and then waking up to hear a zipper I don’t know what it is but it’s definitely one of the best parts
Yeah I never really thought about it but there is something about the sound of the zipper in the morning, specially if you woke before other. Thinking back to my Boy Scout days and sitting around the morning fire, hearing a zipper, and then everybody looking over at the row of tents to see who woke up next.
Matthew Scott Buddy, you and your Toyota cronies should go to Hot Springs or SMORR and try to do some Jeep stuff. Overlanding in the Ozarks is a 2wd endeavor. Believe me, I’ve done it for years and done about every trail in the Ozarks. There are VERY few spots that are technical or difficult. However, the degree of difficulty is automatically higher if you’re in a Toyota. That’s just a fact.
@@Muffduster well duh a solid front axle is gonna be more capable in situations like that, but toyotas are solid all around rigs if you wanna do some light wheeling and have a comfortable daily
You guys are awesome! This what I love to see instead of all of the racism, divisiveness and evil that's going on. I would love to hang out with a great group of guys like you all. Keep it going and pass this fellowship on to the young ones too. 👍🙂
You gotta love the Warren movie cabin not far from there is twin falls the beaver slide an the union school house this some nice trails all in my backyard glad to see y’all enjoyed it as much as we do
Good thing Ben has street tires. There would be a lot more carnage if his tires had grip. It's fun to wheel with someone like him. Keeps things interesting.
@@ArkansasOffroad i also watch atv trail vids and one was like um guys i got a situation and his quad was literally gone he drive in a 10m deep mud hole that was flooded and since he was new he didnt know that it was that deep and yea was fun to watch ut cant find it anymore :) XD

Michael Salice he already is a pretty competent wheeler at 18.. he was trying to play a little for the camera since he had plenty of back up. When it’s more critical he is very safe. And makes good decisions.
Great couple of episodes. You guys took on some radical trails and make me now understand the need for all those side bars we see on the Aussie rigs. Very interesting to see the clearances, angles and radius in action between Tacoma, Jeep, Colorado, 4-runner etc.
@@ArkansasOffroad do watch Ronny Dahl's channel on TH-cam? His channel is under his name but his brand is 4 Wheeling Australia and I think you'd enjoy the video reviews of the different rigs. Sadly, they are way ahead of the US in overlanding, especially in using solar power. Really enjoyed your videos.
Looks like another great trip. I like that side of the Ozark National Forest. I always try to go to the cabin on Saturday so I can visit with Bub he is a character and that trail behind the barn up the mountain is always fun. Ya'll were only a few miles from the Oark Store that is always a great place for food and photo ops.
I live in the desert, so nearby camping for me is quite different than it is for you. But your videos allow me to live vicariously through you, so thanks for that! Keep up the awesome content man!
We were out there that same weekend and we camped at that same campsite on on big piney Friday night when the heavy storm came in but we camped up on higher ground where that huge tree had fallen into the river. Great spot. Camped there a hand full of times
This is my new favorite channel because all the trails you hit are just like where I offroad. All the others are in some desert or on big rocks. Honestly I had no idea toyota vehicles could actually do so well offroad, we only see jeeps on our adventures and every offroad review of tacoma or the others is someone being stuck in sand and using the computer thingy to show how it works. Keep up the awesome videos.
Nice video!! Blew my mind that I happened upon this video, last week my wife and I went out for our first Overlanding trip and discovered this exact spot you camped at and we marked it for a comeback to sight.
Excellent vid. Reassured me about getting a soft top for jeep (or a bikini safari top, windjammer and little tonneau for storage area) so i won't damage the fiberglass hard top
Killer camp spot bro. I never sleep better than I do right next to a creek or river. So peaceful. Also, that was a pretty cool and convenient butterfly flyby in that panning shot of the rigs haha
Greetings from China, (Massachusetts resident). I enjoyed the 2 part video. Its well shot and edited. Too bad no one was filming you going through the tough stuff. Seeing how nimble your TJ is compared to the JKUs 4Runners and Tacomas makes me real happy to also have a TJ. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
I am enjoying watching your videos. i watched the first part and had to come here to watch the second. great videos! Thanks for making them and taking us along! Stay safe!
I have really loved both part one and part two of this adventure. Thanks so much! One observation though I would suggest y'all practice better winch safety. Guys are standing way too close to the cable or even stepping over it in a couple of shots. All it would take is for a one time cable break and someone would be on the receiving end of a bad to fatal accident. Otherwise it was a lot of fun with some very beautiful scenery.
Allen Heaps your right... we could always be safer... we were using synthetic lines that drop when they break but you never know... thanks for the advice
Lol I have that exact mini camp stove....thing is so dangerous hahaha. I have found the best method is to dig a hole in the ground and that way whatever you put on top of isn't precariously balancing ready to fall. Learned that after I was cooking bacon on it and the pan tipped over on my lap almost turning my jimmy into Jimmy Dean Sausage if you know what I mean...

What an awesome trail with so many different obstacles to get through. I think we are going to have to come try this one soon. Have you ever been on rubicon trail? I think you guys would get a kick out of it. It has some of the same things this trail offers. If you ever make it to northern California you could also do Fordyce. It’s always funny to watch Toyota’s attempt to do Jeep things.
Almost as funny as watching the Toyotas that haul groceries and kids to soccer, do the same trails and obstacles as built Jeeps...
